While not always strictly required for smaller elopements or groups under 10 guests. A buyout gives your wedding party exclusive access to all cabins, the grounds, and specialized venue areas like The Great Lawn or The Barn, allowing you to turn your wedding into a private 3-to-4-day mountain festival.
Yes. While Lone Mountain Ranch provides a dedicated on-site event coordinator to manage ranch logistics, catering, and venue setup, you are required (or strongly encouraged) to hire a professional, independent wedding planner to handle day-of coordination, design, timeline tracking, and external vendors.
Absolutely. One of the biggest perks of an LMR wedding is the guest itinerary. The ranch team can build custom schedules for your guests, including guided fly-fishing tours, horseback riding, yoga, hiking, and private tours into nearby Yellowstone National Park. In the winter, guests can access their world-class Nordic ski trails or do a horse-drawn sleigh ride dinner.
Yes, dogs are welcome! If you want your dog to be your ring bearer, the ranch allows a maximum of two dogs per cabin for a pet fee ($50/night per pet plus a refundable damage deposit). They must be kept on a leash while on property.
