This venue is perfection. We had 120 guests at our wedding and it fit us perfectly. The grounds are so manicured and well taken care of, that we didn’t need to do much to create the most beautiful setting. The owners were so generous and accommodating. They are the most lovely people and were so invested in us having our best day. Cannot say enough good things. Thank you Mark and Jayne!

I can’t recommend Big Vista Ranch enough!! My husband and I got married here this past July and I can’t say enough good things about this place! Mark and Jayne are incredible people who have built a breathtaking venue! We viewed this place and immediately cancelled all of our other venue tours because we knew this was it! They had wonderful communication with us and we could tell they were genuinely happy to be hosting weddings and events. It was so relaxed, peaceful, luxurious and truly better than we imagined. Everything was really high quality, and you can tell there is a lot of thought that has gone into building this gorgeous space. They were so accommodating for our requests and even let us be baptized in the pond there which was so special to us and our families. There was so much room for dancing, yard games, and even a bonfire. We had so many compliments from guests about how beautiful, comfortable and fun this place was! It was truly the greatest day and we are SO grateful to have been married here! 😊

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Some places are beautiful. Some places are special. And then there are those incredibly rare places that somehow become a part of your heart forever. Big Vista Ranch is one of those places. From the very first time my husband Anthony and I drove onto the ranch in the dead of winter, we both felt something we couldn’t explain. Before the flowers, before the music, before our family and friends ever arrived, we just knew: this was where we were going to get married. There is an indescribable energy at Big Vista Ranch—something peaceful, powerful, and almost spiritual. It feels like a place that was created for love. The mountains, the enormous Montana sky, the pond, the horses, and what we truly believe are the most breathtaking views in the entire Bozeman Valley make it feel like you have somehow stepped inside a storybook. And the owners are every bit as extraordinary as the land itself—genuine, gracious, kindhearted human beings who made us feel that our wedding meant something to them too. We will never forget our first visit. Behind the pond was a massive herd of elk lying peacefully together, almost as if they were part of the landscape waiting to welcome us. Every time we returned after that, there were deer wandering across the property, and the ranch seemed to give us another little reminder that we had chosen the right place. And then there are the horses. It is difficult to explain what they bring to Big Vista Ranch until you stand there and experience it yourself. Their presence brings such peace, warmth, and beautiful energy to the property. On our wedding day, surrounded by those horses, the wildlife, the mountains and endless Montana landscape, there were moments when Anthony and I simply looked around and could not believe this was actually our wedding. It was more beautiful than anything we had ever imagined. More than 130 of the people we love traveled from all over the world to stand beside us as Anthony and I became husbands, and we heard the same words over and over again throughout the night: “This is the most beautiful wedding venue we have ever seen.” People who have traveled the world and attended countless weddings were completely overwhelmed by the beauty of this place. There were moments during our wedding when we would look out across the ranch and see our family and friends laughing and celebrating beneath that enormous Montana sky, with the mountains surrounding us and the horses nearby, and we wished we could somehow stop time. It wasn’t simply beautiful—it was emotional. It was alive. It felt as though everything in our lives had somehow led us to that exact place, on that exact day, surrounded by those exact people. Big Vista Ranch didn’t just give us a wedding venue. It gave us the setting for one of the greatest days of our lives. Long after the flowers are gone, the music has stopped, and the photographs have been put into albums, we will remember how this place felt. We will remember standing there together as husbands, looking across that incredible ranch and realizing that the dream we had carried in our hearts had actually come true. Big Vista Ranch will forever be woven into our story, and a piece of our hearts will always remain there. If you are fortunate enough to celebrate your wedding here, understand that you are choosing far more than a beautiful venue—you are choosing a place with a soul. Anthony and I will cherish Big Vista Ranch, its incredible owners, and every memory we made there for the rest of our lives. It was where our dream wedding became real, and we could not imagine beginning our forever anywhere else. Eternally greatful.

With unparalleled sweeping views of the Gallatin Valley and the Bridger and Madison Mountains towards Big Sky as your backdrop, this very special venue has it all and is one of a kind... It's breathtaking in every direction and Mark and Jayne have thoughtfully curated their incredible property to make any event one that is memorable and truly unique. Elk are randomly heard in the distance while mule deer run through the fields beyond the fountains in the lake. Sweeping meadows of undulating grasses make for the most amazing glow hour photos. Flower gardens, water falls, and even a koi fish pond surround the beautiful venue that has attached covered pergolas allowing you to extend your dining and cocktail experience outside. Slate patios lead your guests to either the ceremony site by the lake or inside to sit before the warm glow of the fireplace under the stunning vintage crystal chandelier suspended in the venue while you dine or dance. Warm up around the campfire as the mountains take on their alpenglow and the cool nights commence, and be amazed at the beauty of Montana. It is truly so special here. Big Vista Ranch is truly a gem in the center of it all. They also have a beautiful home/lodge for guests to stay at and have additional lodging options also in the works on site in addition to the lodge. I am an event planner in Bozeman and this is my very favorite venue for all of the reasons above, but also because Mark and Jayne are engaged in making the experience for their couples and clients one that they will never forget. They are incredible people so committed to creating a special place for very special moments. It is a true joy to work with them.
