About this venue

Haven Beach Club is located in Haven Beach on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. The club is a hidden gem hiding in plain sight, known for its family atmosphere, festive vibe, and beautiful sunsets. Incorporated in 1947, HBC is one of the oldest non-profit clubs on the island, and the only one with an in-ground pool. For weddings and events, the space can accommodate 200 guests. As one of the few venues on the island located right on the bay, it is an amazing venue for beautiful sunsets. While the club provides preferred vendors for potential clients, you are truly able to customize the space to meet your dreams.     6.6.26 Burdziak Wedding

    We chose Haven Beach Club for our wedding and couldn't be happier with our decision. The management (especially Rich) was quick to respond to our emails throughout the entire planning process, and we visited the venue several times during the off season to get a real feel for the space. What sold us was how customizable everything is…the large, beautiful venue gave us total freedom to make it our own. On the day of, the staff helped us with setup and breakdown, which took so much stress off our shoulders. Haven Beach Club delivered exactly what we were looking for, and we'd recommend them to any couple looking for a flexible venue with a responsive team.

    Beautiful Venue

    I have been a member of HBC for years and was impressed by how perfect the club was for a wedding. The staff was attentive, the food was phenomenal, and the sunset was unforgettable. I would highly recommend others booking Haven Beach Club.

Yes, our club parking lot can accommodate approximately 30 cars.
You will have access to our venue from 8:30AM - 11:30PM on the day of your wedding.
Our venue is just 45 minutes away from Atlantic City Airport, about 1.5 hours from the Philadelphia International Airport, and less than 2 hours from Newark International Airport.
Yes, our facility is wheelchair accessible. We have a ramp at the side entrance.
There are many houses available to rent for a week throughout the island. AirBNBs with shorter stays available, and many hotels in the neighborhood. The closest hotels to HBC are the Haven Beach Motel, The Boulevard Hotel, and Spray Beach Oceanfront Hotel.
While HBC can accommodate a ceremony, there are also many locations in the surrounding area including the non-denominational Spray Beach Chapel, Barnegat Light Pavilion, and the NJ Maritime Museum.
HBC has partnered with many local businesses over the years. We provide the venue itself, tables, chairs, and access to our kitchen. From there, we are happy to refer our clients to vendors in the area. We have potential packages that we can offer including food, rental services, and photographers.
HBC allows for our clients to bring their own alcohol and bartenders.
Yes clients are asked to provide proof of insurance no less than 14 days prior to the event, including a Certificate of Insurance for Special Events Public Liability Insurance and Liquor Liability Insurance in the minimum amount of $1,000,000.00,
We do not allow for weddings to be booked June 15 - September 15.
We book weddings September 15- June 15.
