having our wedding at first grace was a great choice. the pastor and staff really listened and took care to make sure it was everything we wanted. there was plenty space for both families to comfortably gather and wait for the ceremony to begin. the church is beautiful and everything went so smoothly. plus it’s located on historic canal st, so it was really easy for everyone to drive to our reception. so many of our guests complimented us on our ceremony. we loved it )

We loved having our wedding at First Grace UMC in New Orleans. The sanctuary is stunning, and the staff was warm, welcoming, and easy to work with. It meant so much to be married in such a beautiful, inclusive space that truly reflects love, community, and justice. Highly recommend!

Yes, our facilities are wheelchair accessible in the first floor. Access to the balcony is through stairs.

2 hours before the ceremony for setup, 1 hour after the ceremony for cleanup, Ceremony itself typically around 1 hour. The total duration included in your booking is typically about 4 hours.

A deposit of $750 is required to confirm your wedding date. This deposit is fully refundable only if cancellation occurs within 30 days of making the reservation. After 30 days, the deposit becomes non-refundable. Final payment is due 30 days prior to your wedding date. Once the final payment is made, it is non-refundable.
