Surrounded by the mountains of Southwest Montana, Firelight Farm is your home for gathering and celebrating with loved ones. Our historic two story barn has been renovated to incorporate artfully weathered reclaimed wood and modern minimalist details for an aesthetic that works harmoniously with our stunning natural surroundings. Whether you are planning a wedding or organizing an event, we invite you to join us at the farm.

A Versatile Space for Your Wedding

The two-story barn can comfortably seat up to 130 guests for a full sit down dinner on one level. The venue can accommodate 150 guests on one level with overflow to the patios, weather dependent. Celebrations over 150 guests are welcome if the event doesn't require a full sit down dinner on one floor. A tent rental is required for full sit down dinners above 150 guests. The main level of our barn is ADA accessible. A kitchen, two bar areas and men’s and women’s restrooms are located inside the barn. Rental also includes the use of our wood farm style tables and chairs with set-up and take-down.

Middle Creek Package

Off-peak pricing $9,500

Description

Plan your wedding on a weekday and enjoy everything Firelight Farm has to offer while staying within budget. The Middle Creek Package is available Monday through Thursday and includes full use of our event space from 11 a.m. to midnight.

Blackwood Package

Off-peak pricing $13,500

Description

Invite your guests for a day at the farm. The Blackwood Package includes venue rental on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday as well as full use of our event space from 11 a.m. to midnight. It's no surprise The Blackwood is our most popular package!

    Gorgeous Rustic Wedding

    Firelight Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly accessible and responsive, making the planning process stress-free. The venue itself was absolutely gorgeous - we used the upstairs and the views for the ceremony were breathtaking, and the indoor reception space was cozy and charming. The bridal suite was comfortable and adorable, which was so appreciated on the big day. The venue exceeded all of our expectations, and was more perfect than we ever could have dreamed! We are so grateful to the Firelight Farm team for helping to make our wedding day truly magical.

As we do not provide alcohol ourselves, the service of alcohol must be handled at the venue by a contractor with the required off-site permits to serve alcohol and whose employees have received the required training to serve alcohol. No self-serve bars are permitted and alcohol may not be served to any guest under the age of 21.
We offer three wedding packages. All wedding packages include complete use of the interior space and exterior grounds, as well as use of the bridal suite and groom’s silo lounge, wood farm-style dinner tables and chairs, and designated parking areas
Of course! We would be happy to recommend some of our local favorites, but you are not required to use them. We do, however, require that vendors hold and present to us their proof of insurance policy.
Live bands and disc jockeys are welcome. All music must be played at reasonable levels. Firelight Farm shall have absolute discretion over noise control and staff’s instructions as to sound levels shall be complied with at all times. All music must end at 11:30 pm.
Yes! You and your bridesmaids are welcome to come early to get hair and make-up done. Please coordinate this with us prior so we know when you will be arriving. The contract states 11 a.m. because we may be finishing cleaning and getting the space ready and set for your wedding day (if you are a weekend back to back).
There is no per hour charge for the rental of the space, the rental cost is generated based on the scope of the individual event, staffing requirements, timing, and other factors such as time of year and individual requirements.
Yes, we welcome and encourage decoration of the space. You are welcome to hang décor from the rafters in the space and on the walls, as long as it will not cause any type of damage to the space. We do not allow the use of tacks, nails, glue or staples in hanging of décor, nor do we allow tape on the floors.
Do we have to have a day of coordinator or wedding planner? We require that you hire a professional wedding planner or day of coordinator to manage the on-site coordination of vendors and the ceremony regardless of guest size.
We ask that all music and beverage service ends at 11:30 pm. All guests of weddings and events are to vacate the venue at 12am so that vendors and staff may clean up for a "hard out" of 1 am.
We allow candles as decor but only if the flame is contained. Tapered candle holders and pillar candles must be contained within glass cylinders, and votives must be contained in holders. If any of our tables are damaged by wax, you will be charged to replace the table.
We have a fully refundable $1,000 security deposit for any damage that may have occurred to the property. After the final walk-through, if we determine with you that no damage was done to the property, this deposit will be returned to you.
Simply put, the larger the wedding the more expensive everything at your wedding or event will be. Larger weddings require additional staff, more time spent in correspondence with vendors and clients, plus a higher level of coordination and planning to ensure the space is used appropriately and your event goes off without a hitch! Not to mention resources like water and energy!
