About this venue

The Castle Green is one of the most enchanting locations in Southern California. Built in 1898, with turn of the century glamour and charm, the Castle has a fabulous ground floor setting for your event. Rich in history, the Castle was converted from a hotel complex into private residences in the 1920’s. Today the restored ground floor is used as a special event location. We only have one event a day, providing you exclusive use of the property. The perfect spot for an amazing wedding or a unique celebration, Castle Green is a landmark sure to hold your most cherished memories. Create your dream day in the expansive ground floor with the beautiful ballroom, vintage salons, and lush gardens. We are a Venue Only and work exclusively with several preferred, full service catering companies. There are no food & beverage minimums and you can provide your own alcohol with no corkage fees.

Wedding planning takes a village – Let Castle Green lead the way.

In booking with the Castle Green, you will have chosen one of the most majestic historical landmarks of Pasadena. The Castle provides a beautiful and unique vintage ambiance to host your special day. Whether you are planning a sophisticated simple wedding or a lavish extravagant wedding; from the traditional to the eclectic, the Castle provides the perfect venue. We are a Historic Landmark, built in 1898 and offer our entire ground floor and lawns for your event. As a vintage venue, our events are all unique, beautiful and enjoyed by all. We are a venue only and book just one event a day. Our rates are based on the day of event (not type of event) and the venue fee is a flat rate. The Castle Green is a perfect venue for guest counts 200 and under, as there are NO FOOD & BEVERAGE MINIMUMS and you can provide your own alcohol with NO CORKAGE FEE.

Included in this room:

Besides providing a gorgeous venue, the Castle provides the following items for your event: An Event Supervisor, 200 Gold Chiavari chairs with ivory cushions (for indoor use only), 20 – 60” inch round tables that seat up to 10 guests each (for indoor use only) Sweetheart & Cake Tables, 6 – Cocktail tables, A Grand Piano in our Salon, 4 Bars – three indoor and one outdoor, Fully furnished in vintage décor, Salon & smaller rooms, a Bridal room. We work with a select group of hand picked caterers. These caterers are all full service catering companies. This means they will provide all labor (set-up/final clean up, servers and bartenders), handle all rental needs (ceremony chairs, linens etc.) as well as providing amazing cuisine.

    Castle Green is one of my favorite venues in Southern California where I work as a wedding photographer. The castle is charming and elegant but also a little spooky and moody. I've had the honor of capturing a number of weddings there of the years and working with Tatiana and her team is always an unmatched experience. The variety of spaces and options are just right, nothing here is overwhelming or stuffy. I've watched so many guests marvel at the distinct Moorish architecture and enjoy the patio and gardens any time of year. Creating art here with couples is always a special experience. Can't say enough good things about Castle Green!

    Castle Green, quite frankly, was the first choice we made when we were planning our wedding, and what an excellent choice at that. It was the first venue we saw, and after seeing three others, we couldn’t stop comparing them to Castle Green. We immediately had to go back and lock it down. A historical landmark of Pasadena, you really feel you are transported to the past, and that was the experience that we wanted for our guests! They have a curated vendor list that really helped make planning our wedding a flawless experience. Tatiana is the Director of Events there, and she too was a major help from beginning to end. Castle Green comes highly recommended!
