About this venue

First established in 1925 as a children's summer camp, this property now acts as a peaceful escape from busy city life. From the cozy accommodations to the down-to-earth event spaces, this venue works to give couples everything they need for a successful wedding weekend. 115 acres of land and stunning views of the surrounding mountains, along with an abundance of oak trees and sprawling grasslands. Indoor ceremonies and receptions can be hosted in various locations on the property. Camp Carmel Valley offers 33 cabins, 4 houses, and bunk rooms onsite to accommodate up to 120 overnight guests. As a pet-friendly venue, you and your partner will be welcome to incorporate your four-legged companion into your events. By offering multiple-day use of the Camp, you can also incorporate "Camp Activities" like yard games, archery, swimming, tennis, and hiking into your celebration and really take advantage of spending time with your friends and family during this special time.

    Fantastic place for a wedding! Highly recommend!

    My wife & I had the best wedding weekend at The Camp at Carmel Valley! The cabins were perfect, houses welcoming, and the nature was stunning. The staff here are fantastic and this location is a dream if you’re looking for quality time with your loved ones. Couldn’t recommend here more.

    The Camp Carmel Valley is AMAZING

    We have worked with The Camp Carmel Valley for years and this location is a wonderful venue for a wedding or corporate event. They are responsive to guests needs, easy to work with and such a serene place to be for a weekend. As a vendor, we love the versatility of the space for outdoor cooking displays or use of their kitchen. We have catered for large groups for all meals on their weekends and it has always been a great experience. 10/10 recommend!

    Magical Wedding Weekends Happen at The Camp!

    Our team of wedding planners has done multiple weddings at Camp Carmel Valley & we couldn't be happier with how the events went - our couples loved getting to celebrate their weddings at such a one-of-a-kind venue. Spending quality time with friends and families over the course of a weekend makes weddings especially memorable & there is a unique opportunity to add so many fun, personal elements to the multi-day celebration - from welcome parties by the pool to tennis tournaments & custom wedding tie-dye. David is incredibly communicative, thoughtful, & detail-oriented - he goes above and beyond for The Camp's clients from start to finish. The property itself is a magical destination with a variety of event spaces, comfortable lodging options for guests, and a stunning backdrop for activities and downtime. The Camp has the perfect amount of Carmel Valley charm & is a place that is hard to leave at the end of the weekend - your first time visiting likely won't be your last!

    Carmel Valleys most fun event venue

    As a local caterer in the Carmel Valley region, setting up at The Camp Carmel Valley is always a delight, and oh so fun! David is always easy to work with, and the atmosphere is always light and a place where everyone comes to play. On top of that, the views from the venue are breathtaking. Always a treat to cater there!

    Wedding of our dreams!

    My wife and I toured one venue (The Camp at Carmel Valley) and once we did, we knew it was our spot. What an amazing experience from beginning to end. David, the camp director, was extremely professional yet personable throughout the entire process. The Camp itself is also a dream location. Stunning views, warm atmosphere, and a totally zen experience. Our guests really enjoyed staying on-site and the accommodations are unique, comfortable, and amazing! David helped ensure that all our vendors had easy communication and setup, and connected us with awesome vendors as well. We were able to totally customize our experience and make it very "us". We visited The Camp this year on our anniversary, and the amazing memories of our wedding day came flooding back. Our guests still talk about our wedding, and I have no doubt that The Camp played a huge role in our memorable experience!
