Rich with authentic Arizona character and landscapes, Arizona’s oldest and largest botanical garden is the perfect location to host your wedding ceremony. You and your guests will enjoy admission into the arboretum for the entire day to enjoy our world-class collection of desert plants. During your ceremony, enjoy the ambiance of your reserved garden location. Finish off your perfect day with an hour of photo shoot assistance in a variety of picturesque areas. The Arboretum offers a selection of four distinct ceremony locations, two elopement locations, and two larger-scale wedding spaces. Our staff will work with you to help you select the best location to accommodate your group. Yes, the client may bring their own alcohol. Hard liquor must be served by a licensed bartender. Legal restrictions regarding underage drinking will be strictly enforced and BTA does not allow shots. Boyce Thompson Arboretum assumes no responsibility or liability for underage drinking and reserves the right to ask an entire private party to leave if unlawful activity is observed. Alcohol & Bar service must conclude 30 minutes prior to the scheduled conclusion of the event..

Yes, complimentary guest parking is included with all of our wedding packages.

Yes, the majority of our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also can provide additional ADA accommodations upon request.

Your reservation includes 4 hours from start to finish, including 1 hour of set up and 1 hour of clean up time. Any additional time will be billed at $250 per hour for normal operating hours.

Deposits are non-refundable. The entire rental fee must be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the wedding ceremony. In the event of cancellation, the rental fee minus the deposit can be refunded up to 14 days prior to the event. No refunds will be given after the 14th day prior to the scheduled event date.

The Arboretum is located in Superior, Arizona. The closest airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport which is locates about hour away. Rideshare services do not serve the arboretum so we recommend alternative modes of transportation.

We require a certificate of insurance listing Boyce Thompson Southwestern Arboretum as an additional insured up to $1,000,000 in liability coverage and $50,000 in Damage to Premises Rented. Any outside vendors used will be required to provide this coverage as well.
