Beautiful, Intimate Wedding Venue
The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art is the perfect venue for a romantic, intimate, and artsy wedding. This venue is truly a hidden gem! I would highly recommend BMoCA to any couple looking to break free from the typical cookie-cutter wedding venues. The venue fee was reasonable, and the best part is that the fee goes back to the museum to support local artists and future exhibits. Bonus: Since the museum is open to the public, you can pop in anytime to enjoy the exhibits and envision your wedding. From the start, the team at BMoCA was fast, thorough, and incredibly kind in guiding us through the whole process. They partner with Three Leaf Catering, who provided absolutely delicious food and drinks and have it nailed down from A-Z. The museum provided beautiful rentals, including overhead twinkly lights that were perfect for the reception. Since there is so much art and a great brick wall backdrop, we saved a lot on decor costs. The art was on display for guests to enjoy, creating fun conversations and a stunning atmosphere. This is the perfect venue for a small to medium-sized wedding. While you can use the park space outside for the ceremony, we opted for an indoor ceremony that was beautiful and rain-free. Our guests had a great time and we had our dream wedding!
Wedding of our dreams!
We loved having our wedding at BMoCA!!! As soon as we toured it I knew it was the right venue for us. The upstairs event space was perfect (we had 65 guests but it is spacious enough for a larger wedding), the brick walls, natural light, hanging lights, wood floors all make it a beautiful backdrop. We loved being able to have cocktail hour downstairs so people could walk through the exhibit, it was very unique and fun. Jess was great to work with and answered all of our questions! Everything ran super smoothly the day of. Also, incredible location if you want to go out in Boulder afterwards! The one minor complaint I have is that you are restricted to using one catering company, Three Leaf. I would recommend looking into that before choosing this venue because they are a little pricey (we didn’t realize their prices in the brochure didn’t include staffing and other costs, which adds a lot. Which is on us, but we had never hired a caterer before so…didn’t know!). Also, it was difficult to get a response from them in the early stages of planning when we had questions. BUT 3 Leaf did a great job at the wedding, the food and service were really great, and Lily worked with us on lowering the costs to fit in our budget. So it all worked out! We had an incredible time and would definitely recommend having your wedding at BMoCA!

The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art was an exceptional choice for our wedding venue. Their communication throughout the planning process was prompt, clear, and thorough, making everything feel seamless. The space itself was beautiful, bright, and spacious - perfect for our special day. The team at the museum was very helpful with all the planning details and worked wonderfully with our caterer, Three Leaf Catering, to ensure the event ran smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our marriage. Highly recommend the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art for any couple looking for a stunning, modern space with a top-notch staff.
