Tucked away on nearly 100 private acres in Ruston, Louisiana, Blue Heron Stays & Events is a lakefront wedding estate unlike anything else in North Louisiana. With capacity for up to 150 guests and overnight accommodations for 12, we offer full weekend exclusive buyouts — Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. Exchange vows at our handcrafted 12' wooden cross at the water's edge, celebrate under our brand new 35x45 string-light reception patio, and wake up Sunday morning with your favorite people on the wraparound porch. Tables, chairs, linens, and décor included. The vibe? Romantic, intimate, and completely yours. Whether your vision is boho lakeside, dark and moody, rustic elegant, or bright and joyful — this blank canvas becomes whatever you dream it to be.     Incredible Stay & Wedding Venue

    Incredibly beautiful stay and venue for our small wedding. There was enough space to sleep my immediate family from out of town as well as host a gorgeous outdoor wedding and indoor reception with a fun dance party in the finished garage. There are countless wedding amenities included and available to brides and grooms. The Blue Heron is very comfortable with elegant touches and beautiful views. Beverly and Jeff have thought of everything. Their love for the space is evident and their communication was excellent! Highly recommend!
