About this venue

We offer a gorgeous panoramic view of the Housatonic River along with the lush river valley. This would be a perfect backdrop for any special occasion, especially weddings and receptions. Our budget friendly and delicious cuisine can be tailored to your taste, or you can bring your own food. We are flexible on venue rental or convenient packages which include buffet and alcohol.

    The team at Baingan was incredibly helpful, kind and professional throughout the entire wedding planning process. The venue itself was perfect for our special day - they have a great parking space that was convenient for our number of guests, a beautifully decorated indoor space, and a lovely covered outdoor deck that our guests enjoyed with amazing views of trees, mountains and gorgeous lake. The breeze was heavenly and everyone was comfortable and happy. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly, from the delicious food (the naan and masala chai were huge hits!) to ensuring all the little details were taken care of. We are so grateful to the Baingan team for contributing to making our intimate wedding celebration special.

    I was at Baingan for my niece’s birthday! The birthday was an outdoor event and Baingan has the perfect outdoor space for it! You have a scenic view and can see the water! The staff was extremely courteous and helpful! The food and drinks were delicious! It was a beautiful experience since the space they have is extremely beautiful, the decorations added to the ambiance. I would highly recommend this restaurant and especially their outdoor areas for weddings, parties etc.
