The Owasco Room at Auburn Public Theater is a brand new venue perfect for your special occasion. With seated capacity for 200 guests, get married in the heart of downtown Auburn within walking distance of area lodging, bars, restaurants, and nightlife. Our venue contains seven spaces including a Main Stage proscenium theater that can seat your 200 guests (if you choose to have your ceremony onsite), a Cinema where you can share family movies, a cabaret space ideal for a cocktail hour, a bridal suite, a groom's suite, and a Black Box theater perfect for a cocktail hour or for a separate dance floor. You have the vision, we have the spaces and promise to make your day a special one! The Owasco Room at Auburn Public Theater is ADA-accessible with an elevator that also opens up to the back alley for band and catering load-in. Our beloved multi-venue performing arts center in the heart of downtown Auburn, New York is your unique wedding destination.

Owasco Room Staging Kitchen
I have conducted two youth culinary camps at the Auburn Public Theater Owasco Room staging kitchen. The kitchen is an open space equipped with ample stainless steel tables, a three-bay sink, and a single-door reach-in refrigerator. It provides easy access to the dining room, clean and adequate lighting.
The Owasco Room is THE BEST venue
My company rented the Owasco Room at the Auburn Public Theater for our annual holiday party for family, friends, colleagues, and clients. It was the perfect venue for our event that hosted 100 guests. The venue is spacious and beautifully designed. It is flexibile allowing for setup and ambience to meet any need. The Auburn Public Theater/Cafe 108 team ensured the food and beverages were to perfection. We already booked the space for our 2026 party. We are excited to be back in the Owasco Room this year. I encourage anyone looking for a large event venue to consider the Owasco Room. You won't be disappointed.
