About this venue

Known for our award-winning wines and one of the Verde Valley’s longest-standing wine clubs, Alcantara helped pioneer winemaking in the region and continues to craft varietals that showcase the unique character of this land. Set at the stunning confluence of the Verde River and Oak Creek, Alcantara is surrounded by lush vineyards and abundant wildlife. With two bald eagle nests within 100 yards, guests often enjoy unforgettable moments watching these magnificent birds soar overhead while sipping their favorite wines. We’ve designed experiences that make every visit unforgettable: • Kayak and tubing trips along the Verde River • Horseback rides and jeep tours through the vineyards • A picturesque wedding chapel among the vines, as well as five other venue locations for saying “I do.” A perfect place for a marriage proposal too! • Family-friendly fun with our signature hay wagon rides Corporate events for team building, incentive celebrations, and awards galas!

Alcantara Vineyard and Winery is an expansive, breathtaking oasis nestled against a dramatic backdrop of rugged desert canyons, rolling hills, and lush vineyard rows. The outdoor ceremony space is anchored by a stately, open-air pavilion featuring heavy Tuscan-style wooden beams and stone columns, looking out onto a manicured floral arch and towering cypress trees. Receptions unfold on a sprawling green lawn under open skies, complete with a classic black-and-white checkered dance floor, long wooden farmhouse tables draped in soft blush runners, and overhead string lights that stitch across the property. It is an architecture of natural elegance, where manicured Old World romance meets the untamed beauty of the canyon river valley.
