    Our Sedona Wedding

The team at the Lantern Light Inn & Wedding Gardens welcomed us and our guests with exceptional hospitality. Every detail was taken care of and with thoughtfulness. We had our celebration dinner under the stars with the enchantment of the gardens all around. Our wedding party was also blown away by the serenity and hospitality.

    Wedding Gardens in Sedona

It was the perfect venue for the intimate- feeling ceremony. The gardens are idyllic. You feel like you are immersed into a secret garden, and as the sun sets, you are surrounded by warm twinkle lights that enhance the mood even more. Its the perfect location for an intimate ceremony with your closest friends and family. Dani

Spent two nights here. Zero room service. Had to go to the office to ask for 2 coffee pods for Keurig and fresh towels...were told that this is not provided for "overnighters!" Private balcony was a patio shared with neighboring room and entire "garden area." Mosquitoes attacked from parking lot to private balcony making the outdoors entirely unusable. Pod door was left open to allow mosquitoes into the hallways entering our room as the door was opened midday. Warned at check-in about using their white towels for clay cleaning in case shoes got dirty... Spent $798.75 for 2 nights including a service fee of $28.00.🤯 Got to the room at 10:28 PM had to call the concierge due to obnoxious loud patio chatter outside our room. Resumed 15 minutes later, when we had to call back despite a 9:00 PM quiet time.🤷‍♀️ Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed for this misrepresentation of this property, management and service. Stay away!

Lantern Light Inn and the Wedding Gardens of SedonaAug 24, 2026

We are sorry your stay did not meet your expectations; however, several statements in your review require clarification. We regularly treat the property for mosquitoes, but Lantern Light Inn is a garden property with extensive vegetation and water features. As with any outdoor garden environment, occasional insects are unavoidable despite regular treatment. We certainly do not intentionally leave doors open to invite mosquitoes inside. While we cannot control every guest’s actions, management responded within minutes when you contacted us at 10:28 PM about a conversation in the garden. When you called a second time regarding a different guest, we again responded immediately and addressed the matter. Noise concerns are very unusual at our property, and we had not needed to address one in quite some time—let alone two involving different guests on the same evening. Nevertheless, our staff took both concerns seriously and acted promptly. Housekeeping is available upon request. Every room has a door hanger with “Do Not Disturb” on one side and “Room Service Requested” on the other. Fresh towels, coffee pods, and other supplies are readily available upon request. Our request that white bath towels not be used to wipe red Sedona clay from hiking shoes is simply intended to prevent permanent staining of the linens. Your room rate, service fee, taxes, and other charges were disclosed when you made the reservation. Nothing was added unexpectedly during your stay. We recognize that you have shared strong criticism of a number of businesses in your public reviews, and we respect your right to share your experiences. We ask only that our property be judged fairly on both the concerns raised and how our team responded to them. In this case, our staff responded promptly each time you contacted us. Several of the concerns mentioned in your review could also have been explained or corrected through communication with our team during your stay. We genuinely want our guests to have an enjoyable experience and welcome the opportunity to address problems when they arise. While we may disagree with your characterization of your stay, we believe future guests deserve the full context surrounding the concerns you've described.

I had a lovely stay at Lantern Light Inn! I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay. It's quietly tucked in off the street and beautifully decorated with plants, water features, fairy lights, white linens, and hanging chairs. It would be perfect for a small wedding! It's spacious and quiet. I spent a lot of time gently swaying in the hanging chairs reading, meditating, and calming my nervous system. The owner and staff are truly wonderful! I needed some extra support while I was there and they were very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable, the water pressure was good, and, most importantly, I felt very safe there. The room I was in had sky lights above the bed—lovely lighting and a great way to help you get started with your day, but if you're a late riser, bring an eye mask. I will definitely be returning to Sedona and the Lantern Light Inn!

The owner, Dharmesh, is a kind, friendly, and professional gentleman. I was looking around town to see where I could gift my parents to stay for their anniversary. After speaking with him and seeing a room, I knew this was the right fit. I feel it’s a great location for convenience, right by a gas station and grocery store, trails, restaurants, acai bowl business, and many more. all of the major Areas in Sedona are within 15 minutes or less. It’s such a quaint and nice place to stay. It definitely has charm, and I love the outdoor swings, outdoor water features, and just the general area to relax and rest outside of the room. My parents love their stay, parking could not be easier, and the whole process overall was very easy. Thank you, we will be recommending you to others!

Thank you, Keenan, for the wonderful review and for choosing us to celebrate your parents' anniversary. Dharmesh and the team are delighted your parents enjoyed the convenient location, charming outdoor features, and easy parking. We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you or your family back on future visits to Sedona. Safe travels.

More wedding services from Lantern Light Inn and the Wedding Gardens of Sedona

Our peak wedding seasons are spring (March–May) and fall (September–November), when Sedona’s weather is especially popular for outdoor celebrations.
With a full inn buyout, the gardens and event spaces are yours throughout your stay, rather than being limited to a traditional hourly venue rental. Event-day access continues through the celebration, with standard hotel checkout at 10 a.m. on your departure day. We also offer select packages with four-hour private use of the largest of our three wedding gardens.
All payments and deposits are nonrefundable in the event of cancellation. For cancellations made within 60 days of the event, all payments are forfeited and the remaining balance becomes due. Please refer to your event agreement for complete cancellation terms.
Yes. Our full inn buyout gives you all 10 rooms and suites along with access to our three garden spaces, creating a private home base for your wedding celebration and closest guests. It’s our most popular option because of the value it offers, combining your wedding venue, overnight accommodations and private gathering spaces into one experience.
We specialize in intimate weddings and celebrations of up to 50 guests. Our 10 rooms and suites can accommodate up to 20 overnight guests.
For full inn buyouts, all 10 rooms and suites are included in the package. Your guests are welcome to pay for their own rooms, and room pricing is clearly outlined in your contract. The couple or contracting party is ultimately responsible for the full inn buyout. Additional guests can stay at nearby hotels, vacation rentals and resorts throughout Sedona.
Yes. We have three distinct garden areas that can be used throughout your celebration, giving you the flexibility to move from ceremony to cocktails, dinner and dancing without leaving the property.
One of the advantages of our garden venue is getting the feeling of an outdoor wedding with the convenience of covered event spaces. Our garden coverings allow natural light in while providing protection from the rain, so a change in weather doesn’t have to mean a change in your celebration. Some walkways between the gardens are uncovered, so you may still want an umbrella handy. Because, well, weather.
An inn buyout is different from reserving a hotel room block. Instead of sharing the property with other hotel guests, your group reserves all 10 rooms and suites, giving you a much more private wedding experience and the freedom to make the inn your home base throughout your stay.
Absolutely. With a full inn buyout, you can plan an entire wedding weekend at the property, from the welcome reception to the goodbye brunch and just about anything you’d like to enjoy together in between. It gives your closest friends and family a place to gather, celebrate and spend time together beyond just the wedding day.
Yes. On-site parking is available, although parking capacity varies based on the size and setup of your event. We can help you determine whether additional transportation arrangements are appropriate for your guest count. We also partner with other lot owners nearby to avoid surprise parking costs for larger groups.
Yes. All music and amplified sound must end by 10 p.m. in accordance with local noise ordinances. There are no exceptions, so we recommend planning your reception timeline with the 10 p.m. cutoff in mind.
Lantern Light Inn is an adults-only boutique inn for regular stays, but children are welcome for private weddings and events. Talk with us about your guest list and we’ll help you determine what works for your celebration.
Yes. Couples have flexibility in choosing their wedding professionals. We can also share recommendations for trusted Sedona-area vendors after booking if you need help building your team.
Wedding planning and coordination are not generally included with venue rental or inn buyout packages. Depending on the size and complexity of your celebration, we may recommend having a professional coordinator or planner.
Yes. Alcohol may be served by a licensed bartender or catering company, with the type of alcohol service approved in advance. For full inn buyouts, alcohol service may continue until 10 p.m. For weddings without a full buyout, alcohol service ends at 8:30 p.m. Alcohol service may be stopped if venue policies aren’t followed or guests become disorderly.
Absolutely. If you can’t make it to Sedona before booking, we offer virtual venue tours through FaceTime and WhatsApp. You can walk through the gardens, see the inn and rooms, ask questions and get a much better feel for the property without booking a flight first.
While the inn normally has a no-pets policy, we know pets are family, too, and having them there can be an important part of your wedding day. We’re happy to consider pets for weddings and special events on a case-by-case basis. Just let us know what you have in mind, and we’ll talk through the details with you.
With millions of visitors coming to Sedona each year, there really isn’t a true “slow season.” That said, January through March and December tend to offer more flexibility for wedding dates and availability, making them great months to consider if you have a particular date in mind or prefer a little more breathing room.
Yes. You’re welcome to provide your own alcohol for your wedding or event, but it must be served by a licensed bartender. We can also recommend local bartending professionals who have the appropriate licensing and can provide full bar services, including alcohol if you’d rather leave it to them. Guests staying at the inn are welcome to enjoy their own wine, beer or other beverages during their stay.
Yes. Free onsite parking is available, and if your event needs additional space, we partner with nearby overflow parking areas at no additional cost. We also have a transportation service based onsite that can help with airport transfers, trips to get your marriage license, private tours and other transportation needs for you and your guests.
Much of the property is easy to navigate, with wide pathways, step-free routes and ramps connecting many areas of the inn and gardens. The Lower Atrium is reached by a short set of 3–5 stairs and does not currently have a step-free entrance. If you or your guests have specific accessibility needs, please reach out. We’re happy to talk through the property layout and help you plan accordingly.
