    The Bridal Godmother

    I've dubbed Sharese my bridal godmother. I knew she was the one at our very first consult. She told me she loves logistics, she lives to plan, and she will ensure a seamless execution of our dream day. From there, she helped bring the best day ever to life. She kept our timeline and logistics on track, kept me calm, and made me feel comfortable and confident in every bridal choice I made. At no point during the big day did I feel overly stressed about anything going on, which meant I got to be fully present at my own wedding. Like any good godmother, she showed up in every way that mattered. She understood I was a bride on a budget and helped make that easier instead of making me feel limited by it. She supported my DIY goals and got her hands right in the ceremony florals with me, from sourcing and advice to arranging and day-of setup. Her vendor recommendations were spot on, too. Ava's Cuisine, my MUA, and our cake baker all came from her, and even the photographer rec we didn't book turned into a new connection. By the end, she felt less like a vendor and more like family who truly saw us and what we needed. Everything was everything. Our wedding turned out to easily be the best day ever.
