We create fun, easy personalized crossword puzzles themed around couples or individuals, featuring everything from pets' names and favorite foods to inside jokes and anniversary dates! Our puzzles come in several sizes and styles, ranging from short and simple designs perfect for a cocktail hour activity to complex New York Times-style grids ideal for wedding favors and signage. We can provide puzzles in advance of an event or work as a vendor throughout the day making and printing puzzles live for guests. All puzzles are handmade by owner and puzzle constructor Rachel Simon.

I'm a professional crossword constructor whose puzzles have been featured in The New York Times, USA Today, The LA Times, and more. I've made over 800 personalized crosswords for weddings, engagements, and other special occasions, working closely with clients to create the custom puzzle of their dreams!

    Such a fun wedding addition!

    My wife and I are obsessed with the crossword puzzle Rachel made us for our wedding this spring!! It had so many cute references to our lives and our guests had so much fun solving it. Everyone told me they thought it was such a cool and unique favor idea! 10/10 recommend

    Loved My Crossword!

    This custom crossword service is fantastic! My wife and I used a personalized puzzle for our wedding cocktail hour, and it was a huge hit. Communication was excellent from the start, and they made it easy to incorporate our personal details, inside jokes, and even guest quirks into the clues. The turnaround was incredibly fast. Our guests loved solving it, laughing and reminiscing. It truly added a unique, memorable, and interactive touch to our special day. Highly recommend for any event where you want something truly personal!

It will be sent as a digital PDF (along with an answer key), which you can print out at any size you wish!
That depends on what size you want! I can create puzzles as small as just 10 words or as large as 15x15, aka standard New York Times size, with 70+ words (including 20-25 personalized ones!)
There will be 20-25 personalized words in the puzzle, alongside generic words necessary for the grid to properly connect.
When you place an order, you'll be directed to a form you'll fill out with trivia about the person(s) the puzzle is for, and I'll create answers and clues from there! You're also welcome to provide your own list if you prefer.
Your puzzle will be delivered within a week after you place your order!
If you'd like to add a message into the puzzle, just let me know in the "other" section of the trivia form, and I'll make sure it's there (along with circled letters so the solver knows to spell it out).
Yes! I travel to weddings and set up a table like any other day-of vendor, making and printing custom crosswords live on the spot for your guests.
