Hi! Thank you for checking out my company's profile - I'm so happy you're here! I'd love for you to get to know me a bit. I was born and raised in Northeast PA, the Poconos, in the small town of East Stroudsburg. I left home for college at West Virginia University (Go Mountaineers!) where I received my BA in Communication Studies. My entire professional career has been spent in the event planning industry, with many years before that spent in hospitality. It's all I've ever known! While heavily focused in the corporate events world to start, I transitioned into the Weddings & Social event space and never looked back.

My husband and I have 2 husky mix dogs named Rudy & Blue. They are our children & we share pictures & funny stories of them with whoever, wherever, whenever! When I'm not assisting my amazing clients make their event dreams come true, I like to bake, spend time with my family, watch football (Go Steelers!), plan my next trip, and take our dogs for walks.

    Best emotional support in the game!

    I feel like I can speak for many brides when I say that I had no idea what I didn't know about planning for a wedding. Keira did a super lovely job keeping us on task while being realistic and down-to-earth, being a fun sounding board for the ridiculous experiences that inevitably pop up during the planning journey, and, quite frankly, serving an invaluable source of emotional support during the wedding itself. One of our other vendors even asked me if Keira and I were friends because the rapport we had developed over the course of the 1 year made communication so easy throughout the weekend it - was so enjoyable. Highly recommend!! 3

    If you do anything, hire this woman.

    If you do anything, hire this woman to plan your wedding. I'm telling you, just do it. She will literally make all your dreams come true. Not only is she super smart, talented, and detail oriented but she is kind, funny, and extremely thoughtful. My husband and I hired Keira to fully plan our wedding at Skytop Lodge in the Poconos and it was the best decision/purchase we ever made. We live in Florida and felt it was necessary to hire a professional. From my very first phone call with Keira, she took my wedding into her own hands and turned my vision into a reality. My Pinterest board has nothing on my wedding! She is doing exactly what she is meant to do, and she does it graciously. I feel very fortunate and lucky for our paths to have crossed because I truly believe she made our day so perfect, and I am so thankful for her. Our wedding was pure magic, and we owe it all to Keira.

    Incredible Wedding Planner & Coordinator!!

    Keira is absolutely lovely to work with!! I'm a wedding photographer and I LOVE working with Keira on wedding days. She keeps the timeline running smoothly without rushing anybody and has a keen eye for wedding decor. I know she always has my back on wedding days and I can tell she has the couple's best interest in mind with everything she does. I highly recommend Simple Elegance Event Co. anywhere from month-of coordination to full planning!! Keira's the best!!!


You can, and will, absolutely still be involved in the planning! I don't believe in the totally hands-off approach - there's just too many different tastes and preferences out there and I want to make sure this wedding 100% reflects you! You will be involved every step of the way - HOW involved can certainly vary, however nothing will be booked on your behalf without your approval. We have worked with so many vendors, in the Poconos and way beyond, so we are an amazing resource when it comes to booking the best.
Speaking as someone who used to be a venue coordinator, you absolutely still need a coordinator. At the end of the day, that coordinator is employed and responsible by and for the venue only. If the venue isn't providing it for you, they don't usually worry about it or assist with it at all. The venue coordinator won't create a timeline for you, confirm all your vendors and share that timeline with them, or do a number of other things that are provided in our Month Of Coordination package. You need someone there who cares about and is responsible for the event as a whole, every detail, not just one aspect.
There are a few differences between full & partial - first being how far along you are in the planning process. Generally, our Full Planning clients have nothing booked yet, and our Partial Planning clients have at least their Venue booked & possibly 1 or 2 other major vendors (DJ, Photographer, etc.). With that said, we usually work with our Full Planning clients anywhere from 18 - 24 months and our Partial Planning clients about 8 - 12 months.
Month-Of Coordination package is entitled to one coordinator. For Partial & Planning packages, two members of our team will be there on your wedding day. Almost always, Keira is on-site for planning clients and month-of clients. Should both of those fall on the same day, Keira will be onsite for the planning client and another lead coordinator will take the other wedding. The quality of service will be exactly the same no matter what!
