I am the owner of Showcase Your Style Event Planning, LLC, a wedding planning firm that specializes in multi-cultural weddings in Atlanta area. Our team speaks Mandarin Chinese, English, and Cantonese. We have experience working with couples with diverse cultural backgrounds such as Vietnamese, Korean, Indian, Chinese, American, Puerto Rican, Jewish etc. Our couples desire for someone who understands the unique challenges of planning a modern Western style wedding with cultural elements. With an MBA in international business and 15 years of event planning experience, I have planned weddings with a wide range of budgets and styles.

We believe every couple should be able to "showcase their style" on their wedding day instead of doing what the social media tells them what is on trend. We are very direct in our communication style and we believe in matching our clients with the best vendors who can achieve their wedding goals. We are sensitive to the complexity of a multi-cultural wedding.

    Hiring Joyce to plan our wedding is the best decision we have ever made. My husband and I have worked with a lot of excellent project managers in our professional jobs, but we are still impressed by how Joyce flawlessly managed our wedding "project". She would give us a detailed listing of to-do items including priority for each item, she would frequently check in with us on our status of wedding tasks (i.e. deciding on a dress) and offer her help. She would remind us of important deadlines that are comping up such as due dates for vendor payments and maintain a smooth communication with our vendors on all our wedding details and special requirements. On top of her project management skill, she is very knowledgeable about local vendors and with her recommendation, we are able to find the venue of our dream, and also great florists, photographers, make up artists, caterers that assist us on our wedding day. Thanks to Joyce's thorough planning and perfect execution - our wedding is exactly what we have dreamed about. I would strongly recommend Joyce to anyone who is planning a wedding - she will deliver a wedding day that is so beautiful which you will never forget.

    Amazing for Mixed Culture Weddings Too!

    We could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator than Joyce. We are a mixed couple (Chinese and Jewish) and mixing elements of our cultures on our wedding day was very important. Joyce was so involved in making our dreams come to life with honoring traditions from both sides. She even was able to arrange an intimate tea ceremony seamlessly into our day. She went above and beyond in so many ways and we highly recommend her for any wedding. She will be sure to deliver.

    Showcase Your Style Event Planning, LLC is an exceptional wedding planning company that I highly recommend. Joyce's communication style is prompt, thorough, and clear, ensuring a seamless planning process. The quality of their work and value provided is diligent, brilliant, and exceptionally organized. I've seen the team coordinate weddings with up to three ceremonies, multiple caterers, performances, and bartending services, all at some of the largest venues. Joyce's work is truly bar none - she is simply the best at what she does!

I am only taking one wedding per day. However, my team maybe doing a 2nd wedding elsewhere if it is a very popular wedding date. If you book me for your wedding date, you will be guaranteed to have me on your wedding date.
I have been planning weddings since 2010. We aim to do 20-25 weddings a year.
I always bring a wedding day assistant with me for weddings over 50 guests. For weddings with over 200 guests or multiple locations (such as church ceremony + reception elsewhere), additional assistant(s) maybe added.
Yes, I aim to take only 20-25 weddings per year and I have a very close working relationship with all of my clients. Occasionally on a very popular wedding date, I may book a 2nd wedding on the same day but the 2nd wedding will know from the beginning that their actual wedding day coordinator will be one of my experienced assistants. This assistant will join us during final walkthrough meeting, final planning meeting as well as conducting the rehearsal. On the actual wedding day, this assistant will be the main coordinator who will be assisted by another person.
I have 15+years of experience in handling multi-cultural weddings in Atlanta as well as surrounding southeastern states such as North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. My clients would like someone who is sensitive to different cultures, bilingual in Mandarin Chinse/English, and skilled in combining a modern wedding with traditions from their cultural backgrounds, whether it is Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Indian, South American, American etc.
