    I hired MyRose for full-service planning and coordination for two weddings in Morocco: a Persian aghd and a large Moroccan wedding in Tangier. Unfortunately, the reality of working with Abir and her team was far below what was promised. Due to the lack of coordination and oversights across both events, these failures ultimately cost us well over 16,000 USD in losses through missing catering items, damaged goods, wasted materials, pricing inconsistencies, and mishandled alcohol service. From the beginning, team roles and responsibilities were unclear, and we were constantly passed between different people throughout the planning process. The level of organization, discretion, coordination, and multicultural understanding did not reflect the luxury wedding expertise that they claim. The weddings turned out beautifully because of my own due diligence, our families, and a few vendors who stepped up — not because of the planners. I ultimately handled all of the creative direction, timelines even the day of timeline, printed materials, floral development, budgeting, and quite a bit of execution myself because there was very little actual planning support. Communication and financial management were chaotic from start to finish. Everything was handled through disorganized WhatsApp messages and unclear spreadsheets. Our budget was completely disregarded. I also caught inflated decor pricing and altered estimates through Google Sheets version history after noticing unexplained pricing inconsistencies. Day-of coordination was nearly nonexistent. Multiple guests commented on the lack of organization, including the fact that Abir did not seem familiar with the seating chart and was frequently seen taking photos instead of managing the event. My kaftan was forgotten in another city, causing a major delay and panic attack- Abir who was asked to specifically stay close to me to help translate with the Negafa team was no where to be found, and the entire team left the wedding hours earlier than promised. Several recommended vendors were also poorly managed: the Moroccan food for all guests was served cold, Persian menu items were missing, service staff appeared inexperienced, and catering staff were photographed consuming the alcohol intended for the wedding during the event. We were even told the missing Persian menu items were “not their problem,” despite these vendors being coordinated through them because they are “unfamiliar with Persian food.” Family members ultimately had to intervene repeatedly throughout both weddings, including my husband stepping in to manage operational issues that should have been handled by the planners directly. At times, the team appeared more focused on creating social media content for themselves than discreetly managing the events, which disrupted several key photography and guest moments. What was most disappointing was then seeing the company post my wedding afterward, specifically items I was forced to make and bring from the United States due to their inability, as though they had creatively directed and executed it themselves. I strongly encourage future couples to document everything carefully, request detailed written deliverables and pricing, and proceed with caution.
