Kind but Falls Short as a Full-Service Planner
We chose this planner because she was on our venue's required vendor list and came across as kind and professional during our initial conversations. Unfortunately, our experience over nearly two years of planning did not reflect what we expected from a full-service planning package. From the beginning, we communicated that planning ahead was important to us because we were paying for our wedding ourselves and wanted to spread vendor payments over time. We asked for guidance on timelines, introductions to vendors, and regular check-ins so we could stay on track. Despite those conversations, communication was consistently slow, and we often had to follow up multiple times on promised tasks, vendor introductions, planning documents, and deadlines. As planning progressed, we found ourselves taking on much of the planner's role. We coordinated directly with vendors, tracked payments, followed up on timelines, created our own design deck, finalized our floor plan, and answered many vendor questions ourselves. In several instances, vendors contacted us directly for important planning details rather than working through our planner, leaving us feeling like we were managing the process instead of being guided through it. One example was our stationery timeline. We repeatedly asked to be connected with a stationer because we knew custom invitations required advance planning. The introduction was significantly delayed, which compressed our timeline and caused unnecessary stress as we rushed through save-the-dates, invitations, and day-of paper goods. Similar situations occurred throughout the planning process, where we often had to initiate conversations about what needed to happen next instead of being proactively guided. By our final walkthrough, some planning details we had shared months earlier appeared unfamiliar, creating confusion during conversations with vendors. On the wedding day, while everything ultimately came together, several details that had been discussed in advance were overlooked. She is genuinely kind, and we appreciate the time she spent with us. However, for a full-service planning and design service, we expected more proactive communication, organization, attention to detail, and leadership throughout the planning process. Our hope in sharing this review is simply to provide an honest account of our experience so future couples can make an informed decision.

Thoroughly Supportive and Kind
We are beyond grateful to have had Hannah as our wedding planner. From start to finish, she was an absolute lifesaver — especially as the big day got closer and things started to feel overwhelming. Her calm, kind, and supportive presence made all the difference, and I truly don’t know how we would have managed without her. Hannah was incredibly knowledgeable and resourceful, helping us make smart, cost-effective decisions throughout the planning process. She guided us through every detail with confidence and care, making the whole experience much more manageable and even enjoyable. Her experience really showed — she had solutions for everything, and her advice was always spot-on. On the wedding day itself, Hannah (and her wonderful assistant) were amazing. She was not only on top of the schedule and all the logistics, but she also checked in regularly to make sure I was doing okay and feeling calm. We couldn’t have asked for a better planner, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, capable, and truly dedicated professional to help bring their wedding vision to life.

Smooth Sailing
Hannah did a really good job at helping us plan our wedding. It was a destination wedding, so having a planner really helped simplify things. She did so much work behind the scenes. The day of everything went smoothly and we were able to sit back and enjoy ourselves. All of my vendors loved her detail orientated time lines and organizational tools. The only critique I have was I felt like there were some delays on selecting vendors. I did get married in the Asheville, NC surrounding area during the busiest wedding time of the yea up there, so I felt like I didn't have a lot of vendor choices due to waiting too long to look for certain vendors, and many of the ones I was interested in originally already being booked. However, the vendors Hannah did find did an amazing job and our wedding still turned out to be everything we had dreamed of.
