Since 2018, we've planned hundreds of weddings and events across South Florida, creating elevated, personalized celebrations that reflect each couple's unique story. Whether you're dreaming of an intimate waterfront ceremony or a full wedding weekend, our custom planning collections range from full-service planning to wedding day management. We proudly serve Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties.

Our founder and lead planner, Monika Amar Swain, is a Certified Wedding Planner (CWP) through The Bridal Society and Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) through the International Live Events Association, with experience producing award-winning events for the City of Boca Raton, Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens, and Lynn University. A former *VOGUE* intern, she has traveled to 30+ countries and speaks English, Spanish, and French.

    The absolute best!!

    Hiring Monika was one of the best decisions I made during my entire wedding process. Going into the day, my biggest fear was that I would be overwhelmed or too stressed to actually enjoy it. I also worried that something would go wrong and take me out of the moment. None of that happened, and I truly credit Monika for that. She created such a sense of calm and trust from the beginning, and then completely delivered on it. She was incredibly organized and detail-oriented, but more importantly, she was proactive. She advocated for me with vendors when needed, followed up consistently, and made sure everything was handled without me having to think about it. The week of the wedding, when the weather unexpectedly turned cold, she secured heaters last minute and adjusted everything seamlessly. She was always available, always responsive, and never made me feel like I was asking too much. At the same time, she respected my vision and never pushed her own opinions. She supported my decisions and made sure they came to life exactly how I wanted. I was a very type B bride balancing nursing school, and she was so patient with me. She kept everything moving, followed up when I needed it, and made the entire process feel manageable. At one point she told me, “you’re going to float through your wedding day,” and I did. When I walked up to the altar and saw everything—the florals, the setup, my future husband—it was exactly how I had imagined. Everything came together so beautifully, and I was able to be fully present in that moment. Our wedding was smooth, organized, and genuinely enjoyable. Our guests still talk about how perfect the wedding was and how it was one of the best they’ve been to. Monika brings a rare balance of calm, warmth, and quiet confidence. She knows when to step in, handle things, and make sure everything is exactly as it should be. Throughout the entire process, she made me feel supported and never alone. She truly gave me the wedding of my dreams, and I am so grateful for her.

    Monika was an absolute dream to work with and a true professional from start to finish. She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was seamless and completely stress-free. I worked with her for an entire year leading up to the wedding, and her expertise, organization, and incredible vendor relationships were invaluable—not to mention she is incredibly kind and down to earth.     Couldn’t have done it without Monika!

    We had such a great experience working with Monika!! From the start, she made the whole process feel so much more manageable by handling vendor communication and helping us put together an incredible vendor team that truly matched our vision. She was always in our corner, advocating for us and making sure we were getting the best pricing and options possible, which we really appreciated. On the wedding day, she was on it!! Even when we ended up running a few minutes behind, she adjusted the timeline so smoothly that everything still felt seamless and stress-free. After the wedding, a few of our family members kept telling us how amazing of a job she was doing, which honestly says it all.     Truly the best planner!

    Monika was/ is a dream to work with! We had a pretty unique and nontraditional vision for what we wanted our day to look like and Monika absolutely crushed it. Not once did she say “that’s not how things are done” or even question where our head was at. She took the time to listen and made perfect suggestions that made our wedding day perfect. She is an amazing communicator, super organized, and has great vendor relations. Even our photographer couldn’t believe the detail in our day timeline and everything leading up to wedding day. It has been a month since our wedding and my wife and I still get texts / comments about how it was the best wedding they ever attended and that would not be possible without Monika!

Through concierge-style service, you are part of a curated wedding planning experience led by yours truly (Monika Amar Swain, owner of Boca Event Planning). I hold your hand through each step of planning your wedding, creating a streamlined and stress-free environment, from beginning to end. When you work with Boca Event Planning, you aren’t receiving automated messages, you aren’t wondering who is responding to your emails. Each moment is tailored to your needs, preferences, and budget. On wedding day we are a team of 3-4, consisting of our Lead Planner/owner Monika, and 2-3 coordinators, depending on the scale of your wedding!
I am considered a boutique luxury planner, meaning I only take on a limited number of weddings each year, for an elevated client experience. This means a max of 2 weddings per month, never on the same weekend, and a total of 12-16 per year only.
Yes! Each client has the opportunity to add-on to their planning experience, should you need support with your engagement party, bridal shower, bachelor/ette parties, rehearsal dinner, welcome party, farewell brunch, and more!
Absolutely not. We believe our clients deserve our dedicated attention on their wedding weekend, and our ultimate focus during their wedding month. That is why we only take on one wedding per weekend, maximum of two weddings per month.
With a background of more than a decade in design, marketing, and community events (alongside owning my company since 2018), I have honed my skills over the years to offer a balanced planning combination of both logistics and design for my clients.
