Hi, I’m Olivia, the owner of Beyond the Peaks Events in Roanoke, Virginia. As a Certified Wedding Planner and James Madison University Hospitality Management alum, I believe wedding planning should feel exciting—not overwhelming.

Beyond timelines and to-do lists, I strive to be a trusted resource throughout your engagement—someone you can lean on, bounce ideas off of, and count on for honest guidance along the way. Olivia was our wedding planner and was the absolute best! She made sure every detail was taken care of beforehand and had great ideas for us. We had an amazing wedding thanks to her. A few things popped up during the wedding and she handled them efficiently. Can't recommend enough!

Helped us stay on track!
Olivia helped us stay on track in the planning process, offered support and a shoulder to lean on through the exciting and difficult times in the wedding planning process. She was very organized and kept the communication flowing with the vendors so were always in the loop. We can't thank her and her team enough for their services on our wedding day. We added on services for decor set-up and clean-up and we are so glad we did! We wouldn't have been able to enjoy our day if it weren't for them. We highly recommend Beyond the Peaks Events to anyone looking for a planner or coordinator!

The best day of our lives!
Working with Olivia with Beyond the Peaks Events was an absolute dream come true for our wedding. Wedding Day Management is more than just showing up on your wedding day. We begin working with you 6–8 weeks before your wedding to ensure everything comes together smoothly and stress-free. During this time, we take over vendor communication, confirm final details, and create a detailed wedding day timeline and layout. We step in to organize all the moving pieces so nothing gets missed and you can feel fully present and enjoy your day knowing everything is handled.

For coordination clients, we typically begin working together about 6-8 weeks before your wedding. For partial and full-service planning clients, we’re involved much earlier and guide you through vendor selection, design, logistics, and overall planning from start to finish.

Yes—this is one of the most common questions! A venue coordinator works for the venue, focusing on the space, staff, and in-house logistics. A wedding coordinator works for you, managing your timeline, vendors, personal details, and making sure your vision is executed exactly how you imagined. We’re there to advocate for you and handle anything that comes up so you (and your family) can be fully present.
