I'm crazy about family and love and togetherness. I embrace each moment, each stage, and each day. I am a lover of Jesus. He is my inspiration, strength, and courage. I love life and all its intricacies. I don't get blown away by every little change instead I grab hold of the fascinating, glean what is true, hold close what is important, and learn from all that comes my way. In a nutshell, I'm a storyteller with a coffee in one hand, camera in the other with my family gathered close standing out in a wide open field wondering at the glory of nature. ​

LIFE is full. It overflows with love, joy, chaos, sorrow, and many moments in between. Life supplies, in abundance, moments that can often be forgotten or missed. When you look at your photos I want you to be able to share the stories and memories that align with them. I want your loved ones to know their history and legacy. My goal is to always authentically photograph. I want my photographs to shout to the world, "Look at this beauty, this personality, this amazing person right here!"

    From our first conversation with Sycamore Lane Photography, we knew we were in good hands. Yes, I always work with a second photographer. Your wedding day is special and I don't want anything to mar that. With a 2nd photographer you will have the assurance that if any emergency arises, you will still receive amazing documentation of your wedding day.
I go through each and every image. I choose the best and those images are then each individually edited. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also will do minor retouching on the portraits of the two of you. I will do blemish removal and teeth whitening and minor skin softening on those.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, my second photographer will cover your wedding and I will try to find her a second photographer or assistant to help her.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. If you agree to letting me share your photos on social media, I will post a sneak peek 2-3 days after your wedding.
Typically, couples book me about 7-8 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
