I started out doing travel photography back in the Kodachrome days. I’d always run out of film and be forced to choose between buying more film and food. Film always won out and I’d return with thousands of slides but a few pounds lighter! I bring the same passion to my wedding photography. I am honored to work with couples of all ethnicities, backgrounds, and orientations, and I strive to create a comfortable and joyous experience for everyone I work with. My goal is to capture your unique love story in a way that feels true to you, and I look forward to creating beautiful memories together.

My secret sauce? Expertise with studio flash, allowing me to create beautiful portraits, group shots, and candids in any lighting conditions. You'll get extraordinarily sharp and clear pictures suitable for enlargements and albums. I even capture champagne bubbles and the edges of contact lenses (which I edit out with my artistic retouching). If you can't count eyelashes, it isn't sharp!

Typically, couples book me about 6 months to a year before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. Sometimes in the off season I'm able to book with just a few weeks notice.
Absolutely! Every gallery begins with my curating the images to eliminate duplicates. From there, I edit every photo for color balance, exposure, and cinematic composition. I also provide high-end retouching (distraction removal, skin smoothing, and smile brightening). While this comprehensive artistry is included in my premier commissions, by limiting the detailed retouching to your selected favorites (approx. 25 images per hour of coverage) we can tailor the investment to your budget.
I offer a Sneak Peek in a week. My turnaround time for all of the images varies by season, but typically, you’ll be able to view and download your finished high-resolution photos online in about 6 weeks after your wedding. During the peak summer months it may take as long as 90 days, depending on how many pictures I took. For a six-hour wedding I can easily have over 2,000 images to go through.
You can expect about 100 to 150 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
In my 18 years as photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement. Well, almost perfect! ;-)
