I have been a photographer my whole life. Maybe not great that entire time, but I've learned so much along the way. I've studied the art of photography at Grand Valley State University, worked in a studio for 3 years, and have run my own photography business for the last 12 years. I'm currently turning my eye on wedding photography, specifically, as I've been adding more weddings each year, and I've enjoyed it immensely.

I love weddings. I love being a part of your big day. All the planned or unplanned events. I want to be like a friend whose cheering you on throughout it all. I want you to feel like you can suggest ideas along the way. I'm confident in providing professional quality photos of your day, but completely open to trying new ideas if you and your partner have fallen in love with a certain pose. Lets have fun, and create a great gallery together!

    Susie is awesome!!

    Susie was amazing! She is super friendly and truly wants to make your day everything you want it to be! She is super easy to talk to and responds promptly to any questions. She was willing to try something I had wanted to do, but we didn’t end up having time and she was very gracious. She did a great job blending into the background, but when she needed to was ready to step up and speak up. I haven’t seen all the pictures yet, but what I have seen I absolutely love!

    Susie is so wonderful to work with, she’s prompt at responding to messages, easy to stay in contact with and always on time to her events. She is so fun, but at the same time professional. If you have little kids in your group she is always able to get them to crack a smile! We love her work!
