I was born and raised in sunny San Diego, California. I am a wife to my high school sweetheart and hero, and a mother to two sweet blonde boys. I love coffee, dogs, hanging on the beach, and spending quality time with the people I love. I love hard and wear my heart on my sleeve. I will most definitely tell you how I’m feeling and what I think because I believe honesty goes a long way! I am a sucker for a cold beer or a glass of wine. I also enjoy hiking, plants, cooking healthy meals for my family and decorating our home.

To me photography isn’t really about the picture perfect moment, its about freezing a moment of time with someone you love. I lost my Dad and best friend September 2015 to brain cancer. Not a day goes by where he is not on my mind. I can thank him for who I am today. Losing such an important person in my life forever changed me. I wholeheartedly believe the moments we share with the people we love are more important than any other thing or place on this planet. I believe in capturing the moment and truly making the most out of every single opportunity you are given.

    The Knopfs

    Shelby and her team were literally the best ever made us feel so special and beautiful the day of our wedding. I gave her some Inspo photos but really just trusted her and had fun with what she thought would look best :) she was so quick and helped us stay on time despite my somewhat chatty bridal party hahaha. We were even able to mingle for cocktail hour, that was a goal of ours and she made sure we moved quick in our photos so we could be with our guests. You have to choose her and her team, literally I feel like I’m in a special club since she was our photographer Cannot wait to find an excuse to shoot with her again! We love you Shelby and Jackie

I deliver high resolution photos via online gallery. I do have a minimum amount of photos you will receive listed under each package section above, but I never leave anything out. I don’t put a cap or a limit on what I will deliver, and usually always over deliver.
I will photograph you wherever your heart feels the happiest, the beach, the top of a mountain, or even your home. Being originally from San Diego I have lots of great locations to suggest but if you have somewhere you love I am totally down with that as well. I am available for travel outside of San Diego, travel rates may apply.
Any session other than wedding, you can expect a 1-3 week turnaround, although I do my best to finish earlier. Wedding photo turnaround is up to 8 weeks, but also do my best to finish around 4 weeks.
If I only had two words to describe my sessions it would be fun and genuine. Not every photographer can walk into a session and get honest heartfelt images of their couples. I’m invested in you and I can’t wait to tell your story honestly. I’ll guide you through prompts that’ll make you laugh so hard you may pee your pants.
