    Booking Sarah for our wedding was hands down the best decision we made. From our initial Zoom meeting, we knew it was going to be a great fit – she even added in cat toys in our welcome packet! My husband and I work crazy schedules and Sarah was so patient and willing to work with us and even make the trip down to Indianapolis for our engagement session. My husband was hesitant about the whole photo process, but he loved Sarah from our first meeting and she and Grace put us at ease and made the engagement session so fun! Sarah is definitely the person you want for your wedding. She knows the ins and outs of a Notre Dame wedding and was able to design the best timeline to fit in all of the pictures we knew we wanted for the day. More importantly, Sarah was a seamstress in another life and was able to sew me back into my dress and essentially sew a new bustle after an unfortunate football mishap. The only people you see more on your wedding day than your partner are your photographers, so this is one of the most important decisions you have to make. You will not regret hiring Sarah as your wedding photographer, she is that person you want by your side! We are lucky to come out of this with not only the most beautiful pictures, but beautiful friends as well. Our engagement and wedding photos captured our love story perfectly and we are so excited to have these to look at forever.

    Where do I begin?! Sarah is just truly amazing as a person and photographer, there aren't enough words to say how grateful we are for Sarah and Micky. For our engagement shoot, we hit multiple spots that were special to us and then to St, Joseph, Michigan for a romantic beach sunset. It was relaxing, beautiful, and most of all FUN! The pictures are like no other and she really captured my husband and I in a way I didn’t know was possible. Sarah and Micky traveled all the way from Indiana where we are from, to Snowshoe, WV for our very intimate wedding. The day was SEAMLESS! With Sarah’s helpful planning, she helped build the timeline from start to finish. Her hard work and fun personality make you forget about any stresses you have about the special day or insecurities you have about yourself. You feel confident in your body and really live in that moment with your partner. I can’t say enough about how awesome Sarah is, and how flexible she can be. Sarah helped customize our package to fit our needs and budget for our destination wedding and ensured we got what we were looking for. Thank you so much Sarah and Mickey for your hard work, dedication and awesomeness!

    We could not be happier with Sarah and the way she told our wedding day story through her photography. When we received our photos just two weeks after the big day, we quickly texted her, “WE ARE STARSTRUCK!” Sarah’s background is originally in black-and-white photography. This means that she knows how to work with lighting and how to pick the perfect moment to take a shot so that it says a million things all at once. Her attention to detail is phenomenal; as result, the quality of our photos is unparalleled. If you are planning a wedding in South Bend, especially one on Notre Dame’s campus, Sarah is the one you need. She knows the Basilica and campus like the back of her hand. In turn, she knew exactly what shots to get and where. We both have large families, and she came up with excellent plans to corral everyone as necessary while staying on schedule. In fact, she went out of her way to create an entire wedding day timeline for us and sent it in a smartphone wallpaper format that we could easily send to the wedding party. In addition, she made time to attend our rehearsal so that she could prepare for each aspect of our ceremony and anticipate times to take the best pictures. Sarah was in steady communication with us throughout our wedding planning process. No question was left unanswered, no detail too small. She was willing to wake up in the wee hours of the day to take “getting ready” photos before our morning wedding and even offered to transport bridesmaids to the ceremony in her SUV if it turned out we didn’t have enough drivers. A few months after the wedding, we received a gorgeous photo album from Sarah. She carefully customized the album for us based on pictures of our choosing and spent as long as we needed discussing options that fit our budget. She kept in touch with us as we waited for it to arrive in the mail so there were no concerns about it getting lost anywhere in transit. It’s one thing to be a phenomenal photographer, but another thing altogether to be a genuinely kind, generous soul. Sarah Sage is both. As my husband says, “She really captures memories. These aren’t just photos."

    Choosing Sarah Sage as our wedding photographer was THE best decision my husband (Luke) and I made for our wedding. We loved her SO much that we each decided to write our own review :). Not only is she a very talented photographer, but she also truly cares about each and every one of her couples, which makes her different from any other vendor you will have on your wedding day. We can truly say she is a friend after working with her for our engagement and now wedding. She was super accommodating and compassionate when it came to re-arranging our wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While we had to postpone until next year for our big reception, she was willing to drive to Wisconsin for the day to cover our ceremony and some of our “mini-reception” of our wedding day this year. She went above and beyond on our wedding day, not only arriving early to make sure everything was in order, but also even staying later to make sure that we had the most amazing photos. Sarah also gets your wedding photos back to you in record time—we had sneak previews the next day and she had our whole album completed in a few weeks (faster than any of my other friends which took months). The quality of her photos has far exceeded our expectations as well. If you’re looking for a photographer (and friend) that will make your wedding day and the days leading up to your wedding a breeze, then think no more, hire Sarah.
