I'm Mirjana, a San Diego photographer specializing in elopements, intimate weddings, and surprise proposals. I've photographed nearly 500 couples over the years, and I still love the part of photography that happens in between the “big moments” — the nervous laughs, the little looks, the hugs, and everything that makes a day feel like yours. I photograph throughout San Diego and Southern California, and I'm also available for Joshua Tree elopements and destination elopements throughout California. I’m here for couples who want beautiful photographs but don't want their entire day to feel like a photoshoot.

I don't just show up with a camera. I help you figure things out. From choosing the right San Diego or Joshua Tree location to planning around the best light and creating a timeline that doesn't feel rushed, I'm there to help. After photographing nearly 500 couples, I've learned that the best photos happen when people feel comfortable. I'll guide you when you need it, then step back and let the real moments happen. Absolutely. You don't have to come to me with a location already picked out. San Diego has so many completely different places to get married — coastal cliffs, beaches, parks, mountains, and quieter spots that don't feel like a typical wedding venue. I can help you narrow it down based on the feeling you want, how private or accessible you want it to be, the light, and how you want the day to flow.
Yes — and I actually really enjoy this part. Where you go and when you go can completely change the experience and the photographs. I'll help you think through timing, light, locations, travel time, and the moments you want documented so the day doesn't feel rushed. You don't need to have everything figured out before you reach out.
Yes. I'm currently expanding my elopement work into Joshua Tree and other beautiful locations throughout California. I love the slower, more adventurous feeling of a desert elopement, and I'm especially interested in couples who want the landscape to be part of their day rather than simply a backdrop. If Joshua Tree is somewhere you've been dreaming about, I'd love to help you plan it.
It depends on the package you choose, but your full gallery will be delivered within up to one week. I also offer the option of receiving a small preview gallery within 24 hours, so you don't have to wait long to relive the day and share a few favorites.
Honestly, I don't want your elopement to feel like a photoshoot. I know being in front of a camera can feel awkward, especially at first. My job is to make that part easier — not to make you perform. I'll tell you where to stand when you need direction, fix your dress if it's doing something weird, remind you to slow down, and probably make you laugh at some point. Then I'll get out of the way and let you be together. I want you to remember how the day felt, not how many times I told you to pose.
