About Michelle Coombs Photography

Michelle Coombs

Photographer

So, I'm Michelle Coombs, an Orlando photographer with over 11 years of professional experience! Only after photographing a few dozen weddings and family sessions and getting some feedback, did I realize that my couples and families were raving over the "in between" images they received as much as the more posed images. Getting feedback from brides saying "She captures those moments, you would miss in a blink of an eye. She did our wedding, and she delivered above and beyond professionalism, ideas, and candid photos that I will always cherish. She is honest, direct, who I would rate as 10 plus!"...THOSE are the things that I take pride in

    STAY AWAY from this lady!

STAY AWAY from this lady!! She will take your money and enjoy an easy pay day for doing nothing! No direct address was given from the beginning of correspondence with Michelle. We were supposed to assume to put “Cocoa Beach pier” into gps instead of just “Cocoa Beach”. We do not live in the area. Michelle was not clear from the start as to the EXACT LOCATION TO APPEAR. There was no specific time to show up. I said 7pm hour and Michelle said Ok. I was communicating with her en route to the destination. No talk about sunset time and when the last snap was expected to be before no more shots could be taken. The actual sunset time for this location was 8:09pm. We looked it up on the internet. When we finally got to the right destination, we took our own photos and it was past the recorded sunset tjme. So sunset time was very vague and ambiguous that wasn’t conveyed. There was about 15 minutes worth of quality photos that Michelle could’ve taken that we did ourselves on our own camera phone. Michelle got to pier at 7:07 and we got to cocoa beach at 7:41, which was 34 minutes late not 1 hour late (and we let her know about it and she seemed ok with it well knowing). As we were pulling up in a rush, Michelle literally leaves without warning and makes the “judgement call” to call off the entire photoshoot based off said sunset time. The whole time we finally got the correct coordinates to meetup we did not think the shoot would not be happening. That never crossed our minds. Complete and utter lack of delivering the superior customer service we all expect and deserve. Regardless, Michelle could not bring herself to deliver at least 15 minutes of professional pictures to avoid this negative review. This whole bad review could have been avoided. Michelle is a poor communicator and although very understanding we were running late, she did not even show her face when we got to the RIGHT ADDRESS she gave after the fact. Michelle is a coward and will “ghost” you no problem in today’s day and age. We are a small family from out of town for the shoot and no sympathy was given. She cannot answer a phone call from the paying client at time of service. She is very unprofessional to say the very least.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 2 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive an online image gallery with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
Typically, couples book me about 9 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
I DO!!! When you choose to book with me, I do require a down payment of 35% of the invoice total and the final balance due 30 days prior to the wedding date. From there, we can work out a payment plan that will be made in 1/3's or 1/4's...whatever works for you!
I have done over 300 weddings and countless portrait sessions. Some of the weddings were my own, some I shot as a contractual obligation with other photography businesses. I'm grateful for those opportunities when I can collaborate with other photography businesses, develop my skill and meet all kinds of new people!
Simple answer...no. If you're having a massive wedding with over 300 guests, have a huge wedding venue that no one could possibly maneuver around alone or a multi day event, you may want to consider it but in general, one photographer who knows the timeline, venue and has experience will do. But if you need one, I have no problem getting one for you :)
