Hi there, Im Sam! A Wedding and Portrait photographer located in Winston-Salem, NC. I am fueled by coffee, hiking and most importantly, couples in love! I started McNoldy Photo after graduating from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor Of Science in commercial photography! With an adventurous heart and love for the outdoors, most of my sessions are outdoors using natural light!

Taking photos can be intimidating and for some a nervous experience. Introducing my clients to a fun photographic experience where they can relax and be themselves in front of the camera is one of my favorite things! Whether your are a seasoned pro at taking photos or booking photos for the very first time, I'd love to work with you! My goal with each client is to create a friendship with them and guide them through the photographic experience from start to finish and ensure they have fun from the moment they inquire.

    Amazing Wedding Photographer

    Sam was our outstanding wedding photographer! She is super personable, going the extra mile to help us loosen up and feel comfortable throughout our wedding day! Sam worked very hard to capture all moments from the day, from pre-arrival, to the bridal suite, the groomsmen getting ready, the ceremony and reception. They were able to capture all of the day’s special moments. She worked extremely well with the rest of our vendors, and her easy-going, professional attitude is not to be underestimated. She made sure we got our proofs and were happy with their quality - which we were astounded by! Truly a great choice for a wedding or event photographer!

    Fantastic Wedding Photographer!

    I've worked with McNoldy Photo a few times and she is always on her A-game! She is easy to work with, super profession, and someone that I'm so happy to call a friend!

All of my wedding day packages include a 2nd photographer. This allows for two sets of experienced hands to assist you throughout your day, along with two sets of cameras capturing your special day and no moment goes missed!
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
Typically, couples book me about 9-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame as dates on the calendar can fill up fast!
Absolutely! I take great pride in editing all images I capture for lighting, blemishes, color correction and any additional adjustments to make the image just right for you to share for years to come!
In all my professional years, I have never had to cancel. Should that happen, I will contact one of my colleges along with my contracted assistant photographer to ensure they are there to capture your special day. I will make sure your included in every step of that process to ensure the best alternate fit in my absence!
The week after your wedding you will get a small gallery of sneak peak images to hold you over while we work hard to edit your other images. Typically, 6-8 weeks after your event you will get an online gallery link containing all of your wedding images along with a USB drive as well.
