Hi there, I'm Makenzie the heart and camera behind Mak Pate Photography! I specialize in capturing the small quiet moments to the crazy dance moves on the dance floor. Every couple has a unique story, and my goal is to capture yours in a way that feels true to who you are.
My goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera. From capturing the unplanned moments to guiding your poses to help you feel confident and beautiful in front of the camera. I love to connect with my couples so it feels more like you are working with a friend.

You can expect about 50 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-8 weeks after your wedding. You will receive an online gallery with all your high-resolution pictures for you to be able to download straight to your phone or laptop!
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
All images from your wedding will be hand selected and edited by me. Once all your images have been edited, I will upload them to an online gallery for your to view and download straight to your phone or laptop!
Videography is not something I offer with my photography packages. I do have plenty of amazing videographers I can recommend you to!
