We are used to flipping through the magazines and peaking on peoples instagram. We notice the serene and meticulous moments that encapsulate the couples love. These photos are lovely, they deserve to be on your fireplace mantle but they aren't the only photos you should be expecting from your wedding photographer! The best wedding photographers know how to capture both. I can't help but burst with joy when I am able to capture these kind of moments. With a background in Photojournalism, these documentary style shots become my favorites from a wedding day.

I’d spend all my time sipping coffee while walking along the beach with my dog and girlfriend if I could, but unfortunately I’m a ginger and sunscreen is expensive so I have to keep my daily beach walks short. I do truly love exploring and spending time outdoors here in Santa Barbara, around California and further abroad. The greatest sense of achievement for me is helping couples throw their dream wedding, while giving them the images they will cherish for decades to come. I am here to help from the moment you reach out.

My interest in photography began after finding a box full of long exposure cityscape photos my dad had taken in college. From there my curiosity grew and I picked up my first camera when I was 11 years old, it was a $20 Nikon from a flea market. I have been hooked ever since.
Absolutely, I carry a $2,000,000 liability policy which protects myself and my clients. Most venues will require a Certificate of Insurance be delivered, so I highly recommend you check with any photographer/vendor if they are insured.
When it comes to a wedding, the only professional option is to carry backups, meaning extra cameras, batteries, flashes, memory cards and such. I bring 3 full frame professional cameras, so I backup my backup, heck I even bring extra shirt and pants just in case.
I can not simply match another photographers rates or package offerings blindly. Although I take your budget into consideration, and often am willing to shuffle pieces around to make sure you get what you want, I simply can't lower my rates to match. My rates reflect a living wage, I hope you can appreciate that.
