Hi! I’m Kristen, the owner and photographer behind Kristen Marie Weddings + Portraits. I photograph love of all kinds in Las Vegas and destinations everywhere. In 2009 I started my first photography business and truly found my calling as a hopeless romantic creating joyous, real memories for couples and families. What's my "why"? I love connecting with people, I'm passionate about my art and I adore making my couples emotional over their images. I do believe I have the best. job. ever.

While I’m always striving to capture the candid laughs and tears of a wedding day, I also give my couples plenty of guidance and direction to help them feel at ease. My style is timeless and relaxed, yet polished. I am absolutely passionate about preserving your memories through your images, and with my natural posing and editing style, you’ll continue to love them for all the years to come.

    Captured It All!

    From the moment we started working with Kristen, I knew she was the perfect fit for us. She took the time to meet with me over Zoom before the wedding to go over the photos I wanted and suggest items to bring with me. That meeting helped us both feel prepared and made everything run so smoothly on the wedding day. She was incredibly organized and knew exactly how to take charge when it came to gathering people for photos. She kept everyone on track without ever making it feel stressful, which is no small task at a wedding! She also had such an amazing eye for detail. Even while we were waiting for people to arrive for photos, she was finding beautiful locations and creative opportunities for photos that I never would have thought of. One of the things I appreciated most was how she worked with us to customize a photography package that fit our budget without making us feel like we had to sacrifice what was important to us. Throughout the entire day, she captured not only the posed portraits but also all of those spontaneous, genuine moments that happened naturally. Looking back through our photos, I can relive moments I didn't even realize she had captured. She worked incredibly hard from beginning to end, yet she always remained calm, positive, and professional. She made everything feel effortless, even though I know she was constantly working behind the scenes. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer. If you're looking for someone who is organized, creative, talented, and genuinely invested in making your day special, I can't recommend her enough.

    The Best in the Biz...

    I can't recommend Kristen enough! As a wedding planner, there are so many things to juggle on the wedding day! Having Kristen as the photographer is such a relief as I am comforted that she's going to be early, professional and have everything under control when it comes to handling the photo aspects of the day. Kristen is reliable and a joy to work with. She is diligent in following the timeline for the day, but also flexible and able to roll with any changes and obstacles that may come about. Furthermore, it makes me so happy to know my couples will be getting beautiful, timeless and real photos of their day to cherish for a lifetime.

    Best photographer!

    I was so blessed to have found Kristen Marie Weddings and portraits! I love ALL of my photos. She was fun to work with and made us both feel very comfortable. I continue to get compliments from my guests on how amazing she was and how stunning the pictures turned out! Every time I show my photos I get compliments on the high quality and that they are all awesome! I’d recommend Kristen Marie to everyone!!! She also was very patient with me in deciding my canvases and they were so beautiful that I had to add 2 additional to my order! I loved the engagement session also which I wasn’t sure about at first. It was fun and I’ll treasure these pictures forever.

    A "Must Have" Vendor!

    Kristen is an absolute must on your wedding day team! The moments she captures are absolutely beautiful and she is so easy going that even camera shy guests feel comfortable with her. She is so much more than just a wedding day photographer. In the months leading up to the wedding she would check in, had style tips, custom photo list and even a timeline for herself- so organized and professional! Highly Recommend!

Typically, couples book me about 12-18 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
All of my full day wedding packages include two photographers. My elopement packages are designed for weddings of less than 20 people include one photographer.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. I can definitely provide local videographer recommendations!
You can expect about 100 images per hour of photography. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 11 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues, and I'll still edit your images in my signature style.
