Why hello there, My name is Beth. I'm a film and digital photographer from Las Vegas. My style is vibrant and true to color. I also shoot super 8 film <3. I am a mama to 3 little girls and some have said that I am a bad influence to all dogs around the world. I love to photograph people, events and places in film format, most of all. I'm an 90s gal who grew up on Hip Hop and the bold colors and textures of Lisa Frank. As a child, my magazine subscriptions consisted of Cosmo Girl, Seventeen and Nat Geo, allowing me to dream of one day creating art with unique angels and vibrant colors. Talk soon, Beth

    The Best

    Working with Velvet Alchemy Photography was such a smooth experience from start to finish. Beth was patient, fun, and easy to talk to whenever we had questions or needed to go over details. Beyond just taking photos, she acted almost like a planner on our wedding day, helping us think through timing and making sure we captured all the moments that mattered.     A Dream

    Beth was amazing to work with and took the most amazing photos! My husband and I are both very shy/awkward people, so I’m sure we’re not the easiest to photograph. But she told us exactly what to do and had us try different things, and the photos look totally natural and…just perfect!

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Yes, sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. For small weddings and elopements, I may bring an assistant to help with gear. For large weddings (80 or more guests) you may add a second shooter for an hourly fee. Brides and grooms like to do this in order to capture more details of their day,
Definitely. After choosing the best of the best photos, your images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I do not deliver or edit unflattering images. I do not deliver RAW or unedited images.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. If you need recommendations for videography, let me know!
I do offer a 24-hour turn-around time for sneak peeks! This consists of 15 or more images. As for the rest of your gallery, my turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-8 weeks after your wedding. You can also expect to receive a gallery link to your high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your peeps and order prints.
You can expect about 40 to 50 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant.
Yes. A 25% retainer is needed to secure your date and time of the wedding. The remaining amount is due 60 days prior to your special day! The 25% retainer covers the time spent coordinating pre-wedding arrangements and securing a date which would otherwise be unavailable to other Clients. The retainer fee is transferable, however.
