Hello- we're Kati & Alex! We're a husband and wife photography team located in Houston, TX. There's nothing we love more than being on the same team! Together, we capture your wedding day intentionally and artfully through two lenses from beginning to end. We have photographed over 150 love stories, and we would be honored to capture your unique wedding day. A little more about us...In our free time, you can find us working on DIY home improvement projects, planning our next road trip, and visiting cozy coffee shops. We have an adorable kitten named Rizzo. Our favorite date night is going to the theatre to see a Broadway musical.

Our style is best represented with natural-light portraits filled with sunshine, but we also value the candidness of a rockin' reception! All of these moments go hand in hand to tell the story of your day. We believe there is beauty in both the posed and unposed, so we offer posing suggestions as a starting point for great portraits. We are hands-on when we need to direct portraits, and we are flies on the walls once the party gets started.

    Dream Photographers!

    There are not enough kind and incredible words to write about Kati and Alex as a photography team! As a wedding planner it is incredibly important that we have experienced wedding photographers on our vendor team for our couples...they have to be team players, they need to know the importance of being flexible, staying on time with the wedding day itinerary and being ready to capture every moment. Kati and Alex are ALL of that and more! They know creativity when it comes to photography and they are always ready to think out of the box when they see a moment arise for a fun shot with the couple on wedding day. I wish they came with a pair of twins, lol because they are always booked - but that goes to show that couples love and trust their work and so do we!! XO, Laced with Grace

Typically, couples book me about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible so we can chat about the details of your big day!
My husband, Alex, and I are a husband and wife team! We will both function as lead photographers on your wedding day!
Of course! All delivered images will be edited in our signature Kati Hewitt Photography style which we like to describe as clean, crisp, and colorful. Our photography style features bright, natural colors with an overall timeless style you will always love!
We specialize in photography only, but we are happy to send over videography recommendations for you!
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your complete wedding gallery online about 8 weeks after your wedding. We also post plenty of sneak peeks on our social media platforms and photography blog so you can start reliving your day even before you receive your final gallery!

Your memories are indescribably important to us! Thought this has never happened before, in the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, my husband Alex (the other half of our husband and wife team!) would fill in as the primary lead photographer. We would contract a trusted second photographer to assist him.
On a wedding day, you can expect about 75 delivered images per hour per photographer. The total amount of images will vary depending on the overall nature of your event (hours of coverage, photo timeline, amount of guests, etc.). Our goal is to deliver images from throughout the entire day. Average wedding galleries for 8-9 hours of coverage include around 1,000 images.
