One of my favorite parts is the challenge of finding beautiful moments and capturing the feeling of being there at the same time. With an event like a wedding, those moments cannot be recreated. It can be fast-paced and intense, while being really beautiful and powerful. Depending on the couple, Jess can be a fly-on-the-wall with minimal interruption for posing, or she can take charge and make sure no guest is excluded from the group photos. The goal overall is to capture the day the couple plans, wants and dreams of.

I’m a Texas-born photographer, seamstress, painter and chef. I have explored a variety of skill sets to become a modern day renaissance man. So far it’s working and I’m having fun. Of all the skills, photography has stayed at the top; for me, capturing a moment that cannot be replicated makes it sacred and exciting. When I’m not working or cooking, I am probably hiking, walking my dog in the park, traveling, and spending time with family. Recently I’ve been reading Book Lover’s, listening to the new Wet Leg album, and finding new places to eat. I love how art connects people and I look forward to working with and capturing special moments!
