In Love and Adventure

So there we were, young 20-somethings, stupidly in love. We knew we were just right for each other – in alignment where it mattered and our opposite traits balanced each other out like a romantic seesaw ride. You know the feeling because you’re right there too. What else can you do but marry this adventure partner you found? We couldn’t have been more excited to do the “I do” thing, but then we opened this can of worms called wedding planning. We quickly realized we hated absolutely everything about planning a wedding. It wasn’t for us.

We wanted to celebrate each other and our love, not obsess over fabric swatches. We – just like you, if you choose to elope – traded perfume for bug spray and table linens for picnic blankets. We had an adventure elopement before there was a name for it. And it was beautiful. Like wow. Like niiiice! Like the best experience of our lives and the best decision we ever made. And now we live to give couples that same experience. We live to see that look of awe and love and mind-blowing wonder over nature and each other.
