Great wedding pictures!
We loved our pictures, from the ceremony, to the family photos, to the natural moments captured. Julie was great to work with.
A hard review to write
I am very sorry to say that I would not recommend Julie. Personally, she was pleasant to work with. However, to say that the pictures were a huge disappointment would be an understatement. When I got the pictures back, they were so bad that it has been hard to even talk about. I don't share them with family or friends. There is a lack of understanding of shadow and light on her part. There are many pics that might have been acceptable, except there was a head shaped shadow over mine or my husband's face because of how she had positioned us. Every single picture did not have to be a home run, but at the very least, I would have loved some pictures that didn't have large distracting shadows over our faces. I believe a more skilled photographer would have given a simple direction to pivot so that the sun wasn't casting my husbands head over my face. There are many pics in which the subject was standing in an awkward and strange position. I believe that a more skilled photographer would have recognized this and positioned the subjects better. Additionally, I felt like I had to ask "where is the photographer" over and over that evening, as it seemed that she was not present when she needed to be. Wedding days are so very important. It hurts to even look at my day preserved by these photos. I made a quick decision to hire her, I should have taken more time and chosen otherwise.

Julie is INCREDIBLE. She was extremely professional and fun. Excellent with children and our dog. Everyone adored her. She was even willing to take pictures in the rain and they turned out magnificent. Run, don’t walk, to book her. She made our wedding perfect. Thank you, Julie!

Julie was amazing! She was so organized and I didn’t have to worry at all. She has sneak peaks back to us within a day and I can’t wait to see the final album. She also did our engagement pictures which were perfect!
