Do you have a second shooter or assistant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In most cases I am able to have one of my second shooters/assistants with me. However it is not guaranteed they will be available for your date.

Question 2

Do you offer prints?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Clients are delivered their images on a personalized wooden USB that comes with a wooden box for safe keeping, which is also personalized. Clients may choose to order prints through me if they wish, or print anywhere they like.

Question 3

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Question 4

Will you edit all our pictures?

Accepted Answer

All photos that pas my standard of quality will be edited. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.

Do you also offer video services?

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.

Question 6

How long will it take to see our pictures?

Accepted Answer

My turnaround time varies by season and my current workload. Typically, I will share a sneak peek on my Facebook page, usually within 1 week of the event. You can also expect to receive ypur personalized USB drive with high-resolution image files 8-12 weeks from your event date so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.

How many pictures will we get?

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. I do not have a set number of images that will be delivered. If it is a quality image that meets my standards, it will be included in your final gallery. On occasion, there may be an image that isnt "technically" perfect, but I will atill also include those in your gallery as well if it is a shot I feel you would enjoy.

Do you have insurance?

I have equipment insurance. I am always willing to sign a release of liability waiver for the venue if needed. Per day insurance can also be purchased online if required by venue.

Question 9

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Accepted Answer

In my 15 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll provide you with a list of other photographers so you can find the perfect replacement. Any monies paid prior to the event will be returned if the cancelation is on my end.

Question 10

Do you require a booking retainer?

Accepted Answer

Yes. 30% of your total fee is due at the time of booking to secure your event date. Retainers are NON-REFUNDABLE if the client cancels. In the very rare event that I would not be able to shoot your wedding, then your retainer and any other monies paid will be returned to you. (This has never happened).

Can you tell me more about your shooting style?

I love catching unplanned, emotive and connection shots. Candid moments make wonderful photographs. Typically I shoot in a photojournalistic style, mixed with a little traditional/classic shots. We will take lots of unplanned shots, as well as your standard "portrait" type photos that are a little more posed. I also like to incorporate shot prompts for my clients, which makes fun planned shots that appear as if they weren't, created with movement.
