I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Em, the human behind Digital Darling Photo, a full-time chaser of good light and great energy. I’m a queer wedding and elopement photographer based in San Diego, capturing love stories that feel golden, real, and unapologetically you. I’m all about candid moments and the magic that happens when you forget there’s a camera around. No stiff posing, no pressure, just you being yourselves while I hype you up, fix your flyaways, cry during your vows, and document it all. If you want photos that feel like memories and a photographer who feels like a friend, I’m your girl. 💛

I’m not here to just take pretty photos, I’m here to tell your story exactly how it felt. The messy, the magic and all the little the moments in between. My goal is to make you feel completely yourself so the photos radiate YOU. I mix heart with artistry, and my couples always say it feels less like a photoshoot and more like hanging out with a friend who just happens to have a camera.

    Loved working with Emily!

    I found Emily through our venue, as she was a preferred photographer. I loved her style and felt comfortable with her right from our first call. After meeting in person I was so excited to work with her, she's obviously great at what she does but her calm, cool attitude was also what I was looking for in a photographer- as someone who was nervous about being in front of the camera, I needed someone who was more docu style and who I felt comfortable with! On the day Emily kept it fun and high energy, and executed all of the specific shots around our venue that I had asked for.

    PHOTOGRAPHER TURNED FOREVER FRIEND

    I don’t know how we ended up so lucky to have found Emily as our photographer! It started out as her capturing pictures of our little family, to engagement, wedding, maternity and all of our family Christmas photos!!
