Hi! My name is Colleen Humel and I started Colleen Humel Photography when I was gifted my first camera at 16 years old. My love for photography began long before then with my uncle always carrying around his camera taking pictures of everything. I am so thankful for him because now I have countless memories I can look back to. One of the reasons I chose to become a photographer is because I love being able to capture those special memories for others. I was also a collegiate swimmer in my past time which was another reason stopping moments in time became so important to me.

I pride myself in treating every client how I wish to be treated. As a friend. I have been able to make people find the beauty in their natural smile, and a newfound comfort to be in front of a camera with my fun candid approach to photography.

I typically will work solo, but can bring a second photographer if it is a must-have for your special day!
Of course! All final images will be fully-edited to provide the most natural and beautiful looking images of your wedding.
The turnaround time can varies by season. My goal is that you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-8 weeks after your wedding. If the timeline allows it, there tends to be a weird lull during dinner time. This is when I will download a handful of images to show you before the end of the night.
I do not, but I can recommend some awesome vendors.
As soon as you have a date, I would start reaching out. Especially if you are in May, June, September or October as these are the busiest months. If you don't have a venue yet but have some places in mind, I can work with that as long as the different venues are within my travel radius.
Yes! If you don't see exactly what you are looking for we can work on putting together a special package!
With my husband being in the Military, I love being able to give back to those couples who have also had to give up so much. I currently offer a Military discount!
