Hey Friends. My Name is Kelly and I'm a wedding and elopement photographer in the Charlotte NC area. I've been a professional photographer for 9+ years. Growing up, I always had a disposable camera in my hand. Looking back I'm thankful for all the candid moments I captured. I still feel that same kind of wonder as I did as a kid any time I get to see photos i've captured for the first time. I have a love for all things nostalgic - which is why I LOVE capturing love on film.

My approach is to capture your day as organically as possible. Of course - I direct when needed - for couple and group photos - but I try to step back as much as I can to let your day flow naturally. Of course this doesn't mean i'm standing back idly. I'm always noticing. I aim to capture real reactions and moments of you and your guests - aka the moments you really want to look back on and remember.

Engagement, wedding, and Family
Clay and Fog Photography were a dream to work with for our wedding day. Great for awkward posers
Kelly was so kind to us. Both my husband and I were very awkward in front of a camera, and had absolutely no idea what we even wanted our engagement and wedding pictures to look like. Kelly gave us clear directions for posing, even moving us to different locations and having props and plans for certain movements or poses for us to do. It felt very loose and fun, and even though we were posing, it just felt like we were being ourselves. I could have asked for a better photographer to be there to coach and guide us through our engagement and wedding pictures. We're so proud to display them in our house.

My favorite photos
Kelly photographed my engagement photos and I honestly wish she could photograph my whole life. The images are effortlessly romantic and soultry. They tell the story of us as a couple because she had us include things that were meaningful to our relationship. I look back on that session as my favorite photos to date. If you were wondering if you should book with her, you should.
