    The best photographer!

    Ashlee was the absolute best photographer we could have asked for. She not only captured our engagement photos but also our rehearsal dinner and wedding! All of our photos are an absolute dream and we’re obsessed with them all- we’re running out of space in the house to display them all! She was so wonderful to work with and delivers tenfold what you could ever ask for. We will absolutely be using her for any photography needs from now until forever!

    ap FILM & PHOTO was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding photography. From our very first interaction, they were accommodating, direct, and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process. Their communication was top-notch, and they made sure to understand our specific vision and preferences. On the day of the wedding, they seamlessly captured all the special moments with a keen eye for detail, resulting in truly beautiful and couple-specific photographs. What we appreciated most was their focus on body positivity - they made both my husband and I feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, which is reflected in the stunning, natural-looking images with retouches where we might not have photographed perfectly but had genuine reactions.     A dream

    Ashlee is the best to work with. I can’t wait to see the rest of my album, I’m already giddy with the sneak peak! She was absolutely everything I wanted in a photographer and more. My husband wasn’t wanting pictures, but during the wedding and afterwards, he was so grateful we had Ashlee capture it. Her style was what I was dreaming of, and if you’re worried about posing, she helps coach your poses. Our wedding was a fantastic day, and she’s one of the reasons it was.

Typically, couples book me about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
You can add on a second shooter for $500 onto my 6 and 8 hour packages, a second comes with my full day (10 hour) package!
I edit everything except for duplicates and out of focus shots (which are also duplicates). I edit and deliver in color and black and white!
Yes! I have a full film package or I can offer Ceremony Recording as an add on for $250. Ceremony Recording is 2-3 point camera system with professional audio of the entire ceremony.
My turnaround time varies by season. A sneak is always given 24-48 hours post wedding and typically you receive your full gallery online in 6-8 weeks after your wedding!
You can expect about 50 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 4 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Anything under 2 hours from Cedar Rapids is complimentary as long as you can work with me on finding a closer location for the engagement session. Otherwise my rate is $1 per mile. Anything outside of 2 hours from Cedar Rapids requires mileage, and 2 night stay at the location (night before and night of the event).
I have a great What to Wear guide that comes along with your booking. It’s my pride and joy! Years worth of tips, shop links, and products for photo ready makeup!
If it’s raining on an event day we will ROCK IT and come out with beautiful images, trust me! If there’s rain on the forecast for a session day, we will wait until the day of and I will make the call for the reschedule about 2 hours before the scheduled time. I have been in plenty of situations where the forecast was actually wrong or there was no rain at our location choice, so I would rather wait and see!
I have partnered with Voigt Media to offer The Bundle (see under packages)! I also offer Ceremony Recording for $250 that can be added on to your photography package!
All payments are credit or debit transactions through Square, Inc. Sessions and events require a non-refundable retainer equal to 1/4th of the total. Contracts and invoices are sent to the email you provide me with during booking. Once we check off those two boxes- it’s official! All final payments are due by the the scheduled session or event day and are sent out the week of.
Sneaks are delivered via Pixieset, full galleries and videos are delivered via Google Drive (and stay archived for a year). You have full rights to share your images and videos & print release is always provided!
