I am a native of WNC and love living in this beautiful area. I live in a tiny home in Lake Lure NC with my husband, dog and cat. I enjoy hiking, paddle boarding on the lake and traveling. I am a self-help junkie and am always in pursuit of my best me. I love people and love making genuine connections and new friendships.

Photographing weddings is one of my favorite things! I LOVE love! I am passionate about capturing the story of your day and your love for each other. When you look at your photos years down the road I want you to be transported back to that day and all the magical moments that made it so beautiful and special. I want my photos to tell the story of your wedding day. I am a pro at capturing all the great candid moments but I am also great at getting the classic (and not so classic) posed photos as well. I know how hard it is to wait to see your photos so I have a really fast turnaround on getting them back to you. I hope to hear from you! ♥️

    I could not recommend Andrea more highly! Not only is she an overall amazing human but she gave us the gift of the best wedding photos we could have imagined! She was extremely professional, worked with us all the way throughout the process and the results were better than we could have imagined. We couldn’t pick just *one* favorite photo. Her artistic eye and professionalism is unmatched, and I would highly recommend her for ANY event you need photos!     Are all brides that anxious on their wedding day? I certainly was! In addition to “typical wedding jitters” my dress hadn’t come back perfect from the seamstress… I was a wreck. I worried about how the photos would come out even with the best photographer. Andrea was amazing. Most of the time I didn’t know she was there. She got the best and most candid shots without any distraction (she must be part ninja). Andrea also got all of the wedding shots I’d requested through communication before the wedding and also had fun ideas that I wouldn’t have thought of. I received my photos within weeks of the wedding and I was amazed at how beautiful they turned out! The photos tell a story of a beautiful day and don’t even show a hint of the worries I had behind the scenes. I would recommend Andrea Coon photography without any reservation!
