I'm Amber. I shoot weddings, and I also shoot brand work for businesses. Why is that important? It means I spend a lot of time thinking about light and composition on purpose, and I bring that to your day. What that looks like in practice: I'll notice that the window in your getting-ready room is better at 2pm than at 3, and I'll build your timeline around it. I'll photograph the invitation suite and your grandmother's ring with the same attention I give the ceremony. And when your uncle says something ridiculous during dinner, I'll already be pointed the right direction.

Two things big things set me apart. First, I take a limited number of weddings a year, and I photograph every one of them myself. You will not meet me at a consultation and then be handed to an associate you've never spoken to. Second, I'm good with people who don't like being photographed. I give real direction (where to put your hands, which way to turn, what to do with the ten seconds after the kiss) so you're never standing there guessing. Then I stop talking and let you two be. If you want photos of a wedding, plenty of people can do that well. If you want to open your gallery in five years and feel your chest go tight, that's me.

    I really enjoyed my experience with Amber while shooting my branding photos for my website. She knows how to get you posed and relaxed, so the smiles are genuine and so are the laughs. You can tell by the gallery she delivers, that these photos are important to her too. She puts thought and care into every one. I really cannot recommend her enough.

Typically, couples book me anywhere from 6 to 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I do all editing by hand and do not use AI platforms to mass edit.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
