About Amanda Kile Photography

Amanda Kile

Photographer

"Hi there and welcome I'm Amanda, a Tacoma, Washington photographer specializing in maternity, family, newborn, and wedding photography. I believe photography should be interesting, engaging, beautiful, and it should tell a story that celebrates a strong emotional connection. I've been photographing professionally since 2013, when I graduated from the Academy of Art University with a degree in documentary photography. After graduation, I've continued my education with countless workshops all over the country, studying under the industry's top photographers.

My goal as your photographer is to deliver beautiful photographs and exceptional customer service to you with a bit of my corkiness. I'll help guide you and your family to feel relaxed and look natural in front of the camera, or if you want to flash me that beautiful blue steel look, I can make your dreams come true. My friends would say that I am fun, honest, kind, trustworthy, loyal, driven, SUPER highly organized, friendly, corky, sarcastic, responsible, clean freak, and the worst joke teller ever- (mom jokes are the BEST). My family would say that I place passion into everything I do, and I live through a camera lens.

Yes, we live in the Pacific Northwest, and it does rain. I love to photograph on cloudy days, which allows me to optimize the best possible lighting with my equipment. If it's a rainy day and we need to reschedule, I will notify you within 24 hours in advance. I do keep a number of backup dates available each month, and there is no fee to reschedule to a new date due to the weather.
Wedding Retainer Fee: This fee holds the date and time for your wedding day. This fee of $500.00 must be paid at the time of signing your wedding contract and is non-refundable. Failure to complete the retainer fee will result in a voided contract, and your wedding date will be released.
I have put together a stylized preparation guide for my clients that I will send out to you with your session's booking. The packet includes information about clothing, color palettes, makeup, hair, and other useful tips.
The Pacific Northwest is our playground, and I am happy to travel to the location of your requests. If you are unsure where you want to have your session, I am more than happy to provide location suggestions.

A wedding retainer fee/deposit of $500.00 is due upon signing your wedding contract to hold your wedding date. At the time of our meeting, you have the option to set up a monthly payment plan; if not, the final payment will be due 30 days prior to your wedding date.
