I’m Alena, a wedding photographer based in Vancouver, WA, serving Portland and the Pacific Northwest. I love weddings for what they really are: beautiful, emotional, sometimes a little chaotic, and full of moments you could never plan. I care about beautiful light, thoughtful composition, and all the little details you spent months choosing, but the people and the way the day felt matter just as much. My photography blends an editorial approach with genuine, unscripted moments, creating images that feel beautiful and intentional while still feeling like you. You don’t need to know how to pose or feel completely natural in front of a camera. That’s my job to help with. I’ll guide you when you need direction, from small adjustments to fully walking you through a portrait. At the same time, I don’t want your wedding day to feel like one long photoshoot. When real moments happen, I step back and let them unfold naturally.
