Ok...moving onto the evening reception of our June 1, 2025 wedding. I'm honestly not sure where RJ was most of the evening and once again, WE had to tell him to go around and take pictures. He took some but I do have a picture of what RJ actually did do during the reception (see attached picture of him sitting and on his phone). After the groom and I ate, we went down to the beach for some sunset pictures and what I was hoping would be beautiful pictures on the best. Well, once again we were very disappointed with how these turned out. You can't tell the sky from the water from the sand in our pictures. RJ had to keep looking on his phone for different poses for us to do and sadly we don't have a single beach picture that we can even print to frame. Needless to say, the overall experience with this "photographer" was terrible. When you read what Albert Soto/Oasis Photo Co./1985 Collective offers, it is NOTHING that we received. I never heard from him again until I sent him a text on June 13th and then again on June 17th. I asked if he had any "Sneak Peak" photos for me and he said that RJ (his employee) went on a CRUISE and didn't send him the footage from my June 1st wedding!! Remember, Albert is supposed to be the owner of this business. Finally, on June 25th (once again I had to send a text to Albert) Albert said he got the Link from RJ and he would start to go over them. On July 9th, I sent Albert another text and he responded that they were almost uploaded, and he would have them to me by July 18th. After many emails, voicemails and more text messages, Albert finally responded to a text message on July 21st that he would send me the Link that day. I did receive the link that afternoon and that is when I got to see these terrible photos for the first time. I was in tears with how they turned out and even more sad with the lack of photos that were taken (total of 252 pictures). On July 22nd, I sent Albert an email, text message and voicemail to please contact me to discuss and review the photos and I have NOT heard back from him AT ALL! Today is August 10th and he has NOT responded to me. I have sent him 3 emails, 5 text messages and left 3 voicemails and still NO RESPONSE from him. I'm hoping that once he reads these reviews that he will call me. I have contacted Zola to see if they can help me since I got his information from their website. At this point, I would like Albert Soto to send me the Raw Footage of ALL of our pictures so that I can take them to another photographer to try to improve them. ALBERT...YOU KNOW WHO I AM...PLEASE CALL ME!!!

We had the absolute pleasure of working alongside 1985 Collective as our second photographer for a recent wedding, and we couldn’t have asked for a better creative partner. From the moment they arrived, it was clear they were not only professional and prepared, but also fully invested in capturing the day with intention and artistry. Their ability to anticipate moments, work seamlessly with our team, and connect with the couple and guests was incredible. The images they delivered were beautifully composed, full of emotion, and matched the energy and style of the day perfectly. Not only were they dependable and efficient, but they brought a calm, grounded presence that helped the entire day flow smoothly. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer who brings both technical skill and genuine passion to their work, we wholeheartedly recommend 1985 Collective. Whether leading or supporting, they elevate the entire wedding experience—for both the couple and fellow creatives. We’re looking forward to working with them again soon! — Oasis Photo Co.
