This option is designed for simple, short-notice ceremonies and is available by custom quote based on date, location, and my current calendar. - This option includes a standard ceremony and does not include the custom love story script or rehearsal.     Maine Wedding

    Sheri was an amazing officiant for our outdoor wedding at Fort Williams Park in Maine! She was very easy to communicate with  from the beginning and was very professional, taking the time to understand what was important to us as a couple. She did a wonderful job telling our love story to our guests and making the ceremony unique and special. On our wedding day she provided a calm and reassuring presence and made our day truly memorable! She was very organized and invested in making sure our day was perfect. She even collaborated with my husband for a special surprise during the ceremony that made the day even more special! We are so grateful Sheri was a part of our wedding day and highly recommend her if you’re looking for an officiant that is warm, professional and will make your ceremony feel personal and meaningful!

I launched The Maine Knot in May 2025 and have been creating personalized, story-driven wedding ceremonies ever since. My focus is on making each ceremony feel authentic, heartfelt, and truly reflective of the couple at the center of it.
I’ve had the honor of officiating over 10 weddings so far, each one uniquely crafted to feel meaningful, personal, and true to the couple at the center of it.
Yes, I do offer rehearsals, and I gently insist on them whenever possible because they make a big difference. Rehearsals help everyone feel more comfortable, confident, and clear on how the ceremony will flow. We use that time to walk through the processional, positioning, timing, and key details so the wedding day feels smooth and relaxed. Rehearsals are included in my pricing.
Yes, absolutely. I’m happy to officiate ceremonies for couples who are already legally married. Many couples choose to handle the legal paperwork separately and still want a beautiful, meaningful ceremony to celebrate with the people they love. Your ceremony can still feel personal, intentional, and fully centered on your story.
No, I do not provide or require premarital counseling. My focus is on creating and officiating a personalized ceremony that feels meaningful, authentic, and true to each couple.
