Your perfect Wedding Ceremony, which symbolizes your love and commitment to one another, is the beginning of a great celebration. Your ceremony marks the beginning of a new phase of life that you will continue to create together for years to come. Your marriage ceremony can personally reflect your story, your unique moment of saying "I Do." and can include your hopes and aspirations for the future too.

The majority of the couples I work with are non-denominational. Often a couple does not belong to any religious congregation. Many may have been brought up with a particular denomination but they have chosen not to follow in the footsteps of that faith tradition. We can work together to find the perfect language that bridges spiritual sensibilities and speaks for your understanding of life, love, truth and spirit.

    Perfect Fit - Great Attitude

    From our first conversation with Leslie at Positively Charmed! Custom Ceremonies, we knew we'd made the right choice. She listened carefully to what we wanted and made thoughtful adjustments to our ceremony speech without hesitation. When unexpected rain forced us to split our ceremony into two parts, Leslie handled the change with grace and kept everything running smoothly. On the day of our wedding, guests kept asking how long we'd known Leslie because she spoke about us with such genuine warmth and connection—it felt like she'd been part of our lives for years, not just months.     An Officiant Who Truly Cares About Her Couples

Yes, I do provide premarital sessions and you are welcome to engage in an introductory course or go with a full preparation. I always suggest starting with the intro and you can always add on additional sessions if you'd like to later!
The first ceremony that I officated was in 1997! However, I started my professional business after graduate school in 2010. I am fully devoted to the beautiful practice of creating personalized ceremonies for loving couples!
I love leading rehearsals! However, if you choose to have your rehearsal on a separate day such as the night before your wedding, there is an additional fee. A lot of couples choose to have "same day" rehearsals and we can discuss timing and savings should you choose to go this route. Other couples choose to have their coordinator lead their rehearsal as it is often included in that fee. That said, all of the planning elements for your processional (including pre/post ceremony) considerations are mapped out in our meetings.
The legal/civil aspect of marriage is so honorable and a beautiful way that we grant rights and privileges to two people who love one another. However...there are so many other facets of marriage and a wedding day...spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual. Let's celebrate ALL of it! I have married many couples who are already legally wed...it just means we do not sign the license that day. I also work with couples who choose to not be legally wed, and some who become legal at a future date. Future signings included for free! ; )
Yes please! One of my specialties in the vocation as an officiant is writing YOUR ceremony. Our meetings include careful interviewing so that I can translate your story into a personal and meaningful ceremony. Those in attendance often ask how long we have known one another. đź–¤
